Innanje is a gram panchayat village in Kaup taluk, in the Udupi district of Karnataka state, India. As of [update] the 2011 Census of India, it had a population of 3,205, consisting of 1,433 males and 1,772 females. [1]
Udupi also known as 'Odipu' is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is the administrative headquarters of Udupi district, and one of the fastest-growing cities in Karnataka. Udupi is one of the top tourist attractions in Karnataka and has various educational institutions. It is notable for the Krishna Temple and is also known as the temple city. Udupi district is an administrative subdivision in the Karnataka state of India, with the district headquarters in the city of Udupi. It is situated in the Canara old north Malabar coastal region. The three northern tehsils of Udupi, Kundapur and Karkala, were partitioned from Dakshina Kannada district to form Udupi district on 25 August 1997.
