The Ira W. Gardner House is a historic house in Salem, Utah, United States was built in 1895. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1977. [1]

According to its NRHP nomination "the Gardner Home is considered the town's landmark residence." [2] The NRHP lists the address as 10 North Main Street, but the actual address of the property is 15 East Center Street. [3]

Joseph Haile House United States historic place

The Joseph Haile House is an historic house in the College Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. It is a 3+12-story brick structure, appearing taller than that due to its hillside location and raised basement. It is a well-preserved example of Federal styling, which underwent a careful restoration in the 1930s by George Warren Gardner, who filled the house with early American furniture. The Gardners bequested the property to Brown University, which uses it to house visiting dignitaries.

Richard Karl August Kletting was an influential architect in Utah. He designed many well-known buildings, including the Utah State Capitol, the Enos Wall Mansion, the original Salt Palace, and the original Saltair Resort Pavilion. His design for the Utah State Capitol was chosen over 40 competing designs. Frederick Albert Hale was an American architect who practiced in states including Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. According to a 1977 NRHP nomination for the Keith-O'Brien Building in Salt Lake City, "Hale worked mostly in the classical styles and seemed equally adept at Beaux-Arts Classicism, Neo-Classical Revival or Georgian Revival." He also employed Shingle and Queen Anne styles for several residential structures. A number of his works are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Battery Street Historic District encompasses one of the oldest developed areas of Burlington, Vermont.
