Druid Hills Historic District is a historic district in Druid Hills, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and later by his sons, the Olmsted Brothers. Druid Hills was Atlanta's second major suburb, after Inman Park, and as one of Olmsted's major works, had a significant influence on future suburban development.

It is roughly bounded by South Hudson Street, South Alaska Street, 35th Avenue and Rainier Avenue. Its historic uses include specialty stores, multiple dwellings, single dwellings, meeting halls, schools, religious structures, and parks. Its architecture includes Mission Revival, Spanish Revival, Colonial Revival and other styles. On September 8, 1980, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
The Downtown Athens Historic District is a historic area in the Downtown Athens neighborhood of Athens, Georgia. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Its boundaries were revised twice, in 1984 and 2006, and additional documentation was filed in 2006.

Notable buildings include the Ritter Park Apartments (1932), Weingartner House, Cammack House (1923), Marshall University President's House (1923), and Park Terrace Apartments.
River Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The district includes 215 contributing buildings built between 1860 and 1930, which include notable examples of the Beaux Arts and Gothic Revival styles. Many of the contributing dwellings incorporate Wyoming Bluestone into the foundations and dressings. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Aurora Highlands was formed by the integration of three subdivisions platted between 1896 and 1930, with improvements in the form of modest single-family residences. The district is characterized by single family dwellings with a number of twin dwellings and duplexes, three churches, a rectory, two schools, two landscaped parks, and commercial buildings. The oldest dwelling is associated with “Sunnydale Farm” and is a Greek Revival-style dwelling built about 1870. The predominant architectural style represented is Colonial Revival.

The area was platted in 1887 as Carlin Springs and continued to develop throughout the 20th century as a residential subdivision. The dwelling styles include a variety of architectural styles, ranging from Craftsman-style bungalows, Colonial Revival–style, and Queen Anne style dwellings. Notable buildings and sites include the Carlin Family Cemetery, Glencarlyn Library, and St. John's Episcopal Church. Also located in the district are the separately listed Ball-Sellers House and Carlin Hall.

The dwelling styles include a variety of architectural styles, Single-family dwellings built prior to 1950, primarily in the Bungalow / Craftsman and Colonial Revival styles, dominate the neighborhood, with some notable earlier Queen Anne style dwellings. The district includes a number of multiple-family apartment buildings, three churches, the Women's Club of Ashton Heights, and Columbia Gardens Cemetery. Also located in the district is the separately listed Clarendon School.

It includes principally single family brick and frame dwellings dated to the late-19th and early-20th centuries. They are reflective of a variety of popular architectural styles, in including Colonial Revival and Queen Anne. It also includes two early 19th century log houses, St. Thomas Episcopal Church, the much altered Christiansburg Municipal Building, the early 20th century former Christiansburg High School buildings, and an elementary school.

Located in the district and separately listed are the Fuller House, Williamson House, and Main Building, Louisburg College. Other notable buildings include the Shine-King House, Milner-Perry-Boddie-Dennis House, Dr. J.B. Clifton House, The Edgerton-Pruitt House, The Furgurson-Hicks House, Nicholson-Bickett-Taylor House, The Hughes-Watson-Wheless House, Bailey-Yarborough House, The Barrow House, The Neal-Webb House, The Milner-Williams-Person Place, Former Rectory-St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Hicks-Perry-Bland-Holmes House, Malcomb McKinne House First Baptist Church (1927), Louisburg United Methodist Church (1900), and Louisburg Baptist Church (1901-1904).

The district developed between about 1874 and 1935, and includes buildings in a variety of architectural styles including Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, Gothic Revival, and Tudor Revival, Mission Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman. The dwellings reflect designs directed toward a middle-class and working class clientele in a newly developing area of Rochester's Nineteenth Ward. Located in the district is the former St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church complex.

It was developed between about 1910 and 1960, and includes representative examples of Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Located in the district is the Watson Park Bird Sanctuary.
The Polk County Homestead and Trust Company Addition Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. At the time of its nomination the district consisted of 86 resources, including 48 contributing buildings, 11 contributing structures, 18 non-contributing buildings, and nine non-contributing structures. The end of the 19th-century saw the rise of the Victorian suburbs around Des Moines. This was a period of economic growth for the metropolitan area. The largest of these suburbs was North Des Moines. It was connected to Des Moines by way of three streetcar lines, whiched added to its attractiveness. Local real estate investors established the Polk County Homestead & Trust Co. to develop the northern portion of North Des Moines in partnership with the Prospect Park Improvement Company.

The original listed area is roughly bounded by O'Keefe, Poydras, Convention Center Blvd., and the Expressway. Along with the NRHP-listed New Orleans Lower Central Business District to the north, across the redeveloped Poydras Street, it is included within the larger New Orleans Central Business District area.
