Kodhiyar is a village in the Sitamarhi district, Bihar state, India. [1] [2] [3] It is situated one kilometer east from the Bagmati River and four kilometers south of Dhang Railway Station. Adjacent to the village of Akhta, it is located in the Suppi subdistrict and governed by the Akhta Uttar panchayat.

Gisara urf Gidhsara is an area in the Sitamarhi district of the state of Bihar, in north-east India. Due to frequent flooding, Gisara has significant alluvial deposits. Because of its geography, the area is rich in agriculture. The main market areas are around Gisara Bazar and Gisara Chauraha.
