Kodikunnil Suresh is an Indian politician and working president of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC). He was a Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour. He is a member of the sixteenth Lok Sabha representing Mavelikara Constituency in Kerala. This is the seventh time he is being elected to the Lok Sabha. He is also the Secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC).

There is a recent proposal to construct Sabari ByPass, which serves as an alternative to travel from Thiruvananthapuram to Sabarimala (The normal route is through Kottarakkara, Adoor and Pathanamthitta). This proposed route passes through Kunnicode.[ citation needed ]
