Jyrki Tapani Katainen is a Finnish politician who served as the European Commission's Vice-President for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness from 2014 until 2019. Katainen was previously prime minister of Finland from 2011 to 2014 and chairman of the National Coalition Party from 2004 to 2014. He was succeeded by Alexander Stubb as chairman of Finland's National Coalition Party. After stepping down as prime minister, Katainen was elected as European Commission Vice-President in July 2014.

It is one of the oldest continuously operating companies in the World. Fiskars' global headquarters are located in the Keilaniemi district of Espoo, near Helsinki.

Gasum Oy is a Finnish state-owned energy company operating in the Nordics. Gasum owns 17 biogas refineries in Finland and Sweden, and is the largest processor of biodegradable waste in the Nordic countries. In addition, Gasum sells wind power and provides various energy market services. It is in the process of building a gas filling station network that will also serve heavy-duty vehicles.

The Patria Pasi is a military armoured personnel carrier. It was the choice of the Finnish Defence Forces to replace its aging Soviet BTR-60s. It was a result of the commercial competition between two Finnish companies, a tractor manufacturer Valmet and the lorry manufacturer Sisu, which won the contract with its prototype.

Solidium Oy is a Finnish state-owned investment company. Founded in 1991, Solidium's original purpose was to manage the property of SKOP Bank, which went bankrupt in the early 1990s recession.

It was formed following the parliamentary election of 2015 and formally appointed by President Sauli Niinistö on 29 May 2015. From June 2017, the cabinet consisted of a coalition formed by the Centre Party, Blue Reform and the National Coalition Party. The cabinet's Prime Minister was Juha Sipilä.

LähiTapiola is a Finnish finance group company providing insurance services, formed by the fusion of the Lähivakuutus and Tapiola companies. LähiTapiola is a group company owned by its customers, serving private, farm, entrepreneur, corporate and community clients. The company's products and services include damage, life and retirement insurance as well as investment and savings services. Services for corporate clients include services related to risk management and staff wellbeing. In 2019 the company had a business result of 273.1 million euro. In 2020 the company had almost 1.6 million owner customers and it was the largest company in Finland to provide traffic insurance, the second largest to provide damage insurance and the fourth largest to provide life insurance.
