Animate Ltd. is the retailing arm of MOVIC and is the largest retailer of anime, video games and manga in Japan. The first and flagship store of Animate was opened in 1983 in Ikebukuro, a district in Tokyo, Japan.

Radix Ace Entertainment Co., Ltd was a Japanese animation studio closed on October 1, 2006. The studio was formed on September 3, 2001 from a merger between Radix and Zero-G Room. Much of the staff from Radix Ace joined Seven or merged with Mobanimation to become Radix Mobanimation in 2007.
Westone Bit Entertainment Inc. was a video game developer founded in May 1986, based in Mukoujima, Sumida-ku, Tokyo. They were most famous for the Wonder Boy/Monster World series. Originally called Escape, the company was renamed to Westone as the word Escape made them sound unreliable. The company's name was changed yet again to Westone Bit Entertainment in April 2000. The chief publisher was Ryuichi Nishizawa. The company went bankrupt and entered the liquidation process on October 1, 2014. Currently, the intellectual property rights to Westone Bit Entertainment's games are owned by LAT Corporation.

Lapone Entertainment Co., Ltd. is a Japanese management and entertainment company, established in May 2019 as a joint venture between South Korean CJ ENM and Japanese Yoshimoto Kogyo. The company operates as a talent agency, entertainment company, and record label under Yoshimoto Music. It produces the reality competition series Produce 101 Japan and manages the series' winning groups as well as graduates from the company's trainee program Lapone Boys & Girls.
