Raider games are broadcast in English on 16 radio stations in California, including flagship station KCBS-AM (740 AM) and 95.7 The Game (95.7 FM) in San Francisco. Additionally, games are broadcast on 20 radio stations in California, Nevada, Hawaii, Colorado, Arkansas, and New York. Brent Musburger is the play-by-play announcer, with former Raiders tackle Lincoln Kennedy doing commentary. George Atkinson and Jim Plunkett offer pre- and post-game commentary. Compass Media Networks is responsible for producing and distributing Raiders radio broadcasts.

Until 2009, the flagship was KSFO (560 AM) in San Francisco with a network of thirty radio stations in Hawaii, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, and British Columbia.

Bill King, the Voice of the Raiders called the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders from 1966 to 1994. He called approximately 600 games. The Raiders awarded him all three rings. King left after the 1992 season. It's Bill's radio audio heard on most of the NFL Films highlight footage of the Raiders. King's color men in Oakland included former San Francisco 49ers tight end Monty Stickles and Scotty Stirling, a sports writer for the Oakland Tribune . Many of the years, KGO 810 did promos as Raider Radio - 81. King's call of the Holy Roller has been labeled (by Chris Berman, among others) as one of 5 best in NFL history. King died in October 2005 from complications after surgery. Scotty Stirling, an Oakland Tribune sportswriter served as the "color man" with King. The Raider games were called on radio from 1960–62 by Bud (Wilson Keene) Foster and Mel Venter; from 1963–65 by Bob Blum and Dan Galvin.

Until their dismissal prior to the 2018 season, Greg Papa was the voice of the Raiders with former Raiders quarterback and head coach Tom Flores doing commentary from 1997 until 2017. [1]

The Oakland Raiders are a professional American football team based in Oakland, California. Lonnie Alexander "Lon" Simmons was an American baseball and football broadcaster, and was broadcasting part-time for the San Francisco Giants at the time of his death. He was born in Vancouver, Washington. Simmons was a star pitcher at Burbank High School and Glendale College before enlisting in the U.S. Coast Guard. After World War II, he signed with the Philadelphia Phillies and pitched briefly in their minor league system.

Gregory Charles Papa is the current play-by-play radio sportscaster for the San Francisco 49ers. He has also broadcast for the Oakland Raiders, Oakland Athletics, Golden State Warriors and San Francisco Giants.

Tamerlane Lincoln Kennedy, Jr. is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons. He played college football for the Washington Huskies, and was recognized as an All-American. A first-round draft pick in the 1993 NFL Draft, he played professionally for the Atlanta Falcons and Oakland Raiders of the NFL and 3 years for the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League. He is currently a broadcaster for Fox Sports and Premiere Radio Networks.

Timothy Edward Ryan is a former National Football League defensive tackle. He is currently a radio color analyst for the San Francisco 49ers, and previously an NFL analyst for Fox television and co-host of "Movin' the Chains" on Sirius XM NFL Radio.

KGMZ-FM sports radio station in San Francisco

KGMZ-FM is a sports radio station licensed to San Francisco and serving the San Francisco Bay Area. The station is owned by Entercom, and broadcasts from studios at Broadway and Battery in San Francisco. KGMZ-FM serves as the flagship station for the Golden State Warriors basketball team.

The Dallas Cowboys Radio Network is an American radio network broadcasting all Dallas Cowboys football games to stations across all of Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and New Mexico during the NFL season. Beginning with the 2009 NFL season, it is the arm of Entercom and comprises over 50 stations with KRLD-FM in Dallas being the flagship station. Beginning in the 2011 NFL season, a separate contract allows a second network to be carried nationwide through Compass Media Networks, but it is NOT the official DCRN.

The Detroit Lions Radio Network is a radio network in Michigan and Toledo, Ohio that broadcasts all of the NFL's Detroit Lions games and related programming. All preseason, regular season, and postseason games are aired live throughout the network. WJR in Detroit is its flagship station. As a maximum power clear-channel station, WJR can be heard carrying Lions games from hundreds of miles away on clear nights. The announcers are WJBK sports director Dan Miller with play-by-play and former Lions offensive tackle Lomas Brown with color commentary. Network coverage begins two hours before game time and ends one hour after the game's conclusion. Games are also aired on Sirius XM Radio and online with a subscription to NFL Game Pass.

NBC made history in the 1980s with an announcerless telecast, which was a one-shot experiment credited to Don Ohlmeyer, between the Jets and Dolphins in Miami on December 20, 1980), as well as a single-announcer telecast, coverage of the Canadian Football League during the 1982 players' strike, and even the first female play-by-play football announcer, Gayle Sierens.
