List of Denver Broncos broadcasters

This article is a list of the current Denver Broncos broadcasters. As of the start of the 2015 NFL season, the Broncos' flagship radio station is KOA 850 AM, a 50,000-watt station in Denver, Colorado owned by iHeartMedia. Dave Logan is the play-by-play announcer; he starred for the Colorado Buffaloes before beginning his NFL career, spent mostly with the Cleveland Browns. Rick Lewis is the color commentator. Preseason games not selected for airing on national television were briefly on KCNC, channel 4, which is a CBS owned-and-operated station, as well as other CBS affiliates around the Rocky Mountain region, from 2004 through 2010. The games had for years previously been on KUSA, channel 9, an NBC affiliate, [1] and in 2011, the team went back to KUSA, which has higher news ratings. [2]

The first Broncos network was headed by KBTR; in the team's final season with that station, 1963, there were 15 affiliates. [3] KTLN (known as KTLK beginning in 1969) took over for the rest of the decade; 53 stations were on the network in KTLK's final season of 1969. [4] KOA's first season as network flagship was 1970. [5]

WATL's transmitter shares a broadcast tower with several other local stations near North Druid Hills, just northeast of the city.

KOA (AM) Clear-channel news/talk radio station in Denver

KOA is a commercial radio station licensed to Denver, Colorado. Owned by iHeartMedia, it serves the Denver-Boulder media market. KOA broadcasts a News/Talk/Sports radio format, and is also the flagship station of the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and Colorado Buffaloes. KOA has studios in Southeast Denver, while the transmitter site is off South Parker Road in Parker.

KKTV, virtual channel 11, is a CBS-affiliated television station licensed to Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States and also serving Pueblo. The station is owned by Gray Television. KKTV's studios are located on East Colorado Avenue in downtown Colorado Springs, and its transmitter is located on Cheyenne Mountain.

KWGN-TV CW affiliate in Denver

KWGN-TV, virtual channel 2, is a CW-affiliated television station licensed to Denver, Colorado, United States. The station is owned by Nexstar Media Group, as part of a duopoly with Fox affiliate KDVR, channel 31. The two stations share studios on East Speer Boulevard in Denver's Speer neighborhood ; KWGN-TV's transmitter is located atop Lookout Mountain, near Golden. The station's signal is relayed on three low-power translators: K14JZ-D in Peetz, K49EX-D in Anton and K31IQ-D in Sterling. Ed McCaffrey American football coach and former wide receiver

Edward Thomas McCaffrey, Jr. is an American football coach and former wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for thirteen seasons. McCaffrey played college football for Stanford University and earned first-team All-American honors. The New York Giants chose him in the third round of the 1991 NFL Draft. He also played for the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos. He is currently the head coach of the Northern Colorado Bears football team.

KRFX Radio station in Denver, Colorado

KRFX is a commercial radio station in Denver, Colorado, serving the Denver metropolitan area. It is owned by iHeartMedia, and airs a classic rock radio format. The KRFX studios and offices are located on South Monaco Street in Denver.

David Mark Treadwell is a former American football placekicker in the National Football League for the Denver Broncos (1989-1992) and the New York Giants (1993-1994). He played college football for the Clemson Tigers from 1984 to 1987, where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was selected to the Pro Bowl after the 1989 season.

Alfred "Big Al" Hamilton Williams is a former American football player. He was a linebacker and defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos. His nicknames include "Big Al", "Hot Plate", and "The Condor".

KDFD Radio station in Thornton, Colorado

KDFD is a commercial radio station licensed to Thornton, Colorado, and serving the Denver-Boulder metropolitan area. Owned by iHeartMedia, it broadcasts a conservative talk radio format. Its studios and offices are in Southeast Denver, while the transmitter site is off Colorado Boulevard in Brighton.

In broadcasting, a flagship is the broadcast station which originates a television network, or a particular radio or television program that plays a key role in the branding of and consumer loyalty to a network or station. This includes both direct network feeds and broadcast syndication, but generally not backhauls. Not all networks or shows have a flagship station, as some originate from a dedicated radio or television studio.

KFBC Radio station in Cheyenne, Wyoming

KFBC is an American sports formatted radio station based in Cheyenne, Wyoming and targets the entire market. The station is a full time affiliate of CBS Sports Radio as well as the Flagship station of the Cowboy State News Network. Additionally, KFBC is a part-time affiliate of the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies as well as the Wyoming Cowboys. In KFBC's early days, they were part of the NBC Blue Network, which is now ABC News Radio. It is unclear whether KFBC is still part of ABC or not.

Alan Roach American sports announcer

Alan Roach is an American sports announcer and radio personality. He currently is the public address announcer for the Minnesota Vikings, Colorado Avalanche, and Colorado Rapids. Roach is also the voice of NFL events worldwide, and a public address announcer at 5 Olympic Games. He was the voice of the underground train system in Denver International Airport. His announcing credits include 8 Super Bowls, 5 Olympic gold medal hockey games, and multiple All-Star games for the National Football League, National Hockey League, and Major League Baseball.
