Since 2015, Ostrava Airport has had a railway connection. [6] It is the only airport with a railway connection in the Czech Republic (via line S4), but there are plans to connect Prague Airport to the railway network. [7]

Václav Havel Airport PragueCzech pronunciation:[ˈlɛcɪʃcɛˈvaːt͡slavaˈɦavlaˈpraɦa], formerly Prague Ruzyně International Airport, is an international airport of Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The airport was founded in 1937 when it replaced the Kbely Airport as the city's principal airport. It was reconstructed and extended in 1956, 1968, 1997, and 2006. In 2012, it was renamed after the last president of Czechoslovakia and the first president of the Czech Republic, Václav Havel. It is located at the edge of the Prague-Ruzyně area, next to Kněževes village, 12 km (7 mi) west of the centre of Prague and 12 km (7 mi) southeast of the city of Kladno.
Czech Airlines is a Czech aviation brand and privately held holding company. Between 1923 and 2024, it operated as an independent airline and served as the flag carrier of the Czech Republic. Czech Airlines ended its own flight operations on 26 October 2024, handing them over to Smartwings while being repurposed into a holding company.

Brno–Tuřany Airport is an airport in Brno, Czech Republic. It is about 7.5 km (5 mi) from Brno's city center, on the edge of the historical Austerlitz battlefield. The airport is about 120 km (75 mi) from other international airports, such as Vienna Airport and Bratislava Airport and smaller international airports in Ostrava and Pardubice.

It is 6 km from the centre of České Budějovice, in the direction of Český Krumlov. Modernization to the public international airport has been completed in August 2023, when it launched its first international connection.
