Embassies to the Holy See

Like many embassies to the Vatican City, the Republic of China's embassy to the Holy See is actually located in Rome, outside the borders of the Vatican and in a country with which the ROC has no official diplomatic recognition. ROC Holy See Embassy.jpg
Like many embassies to the Vatican City, the Republic of China's embassy to the Holy See is actually located in Rome, outside the borders of the Vatican and in a country with which the ROC has no official diplomatic recognition.

The Vatican City State, governed by the Holy See, does not possess sufficient territory to host diplomatic missions. Consequently, diplomatic missions accredited to the Holy See are based in Rome, Italy.
