Mangrulpir is a town in the Washim District of Maharashtra, India. It is also the town of Taluka/Tehsil level of administration under the district. It is well known for Dada Hayat Qalandar Dargah and Shree Birbalnath Maharaj temple. The town has a municipality council.
The Municipality at Mangrulpir is the youngest in the district. The Municipality was established at Mangrulpir in 1959 and is governed under the Maharashtra Municipalities Act, 1965. It covered an area of 11.76 square km. The Municipal council is composed 10 members for the scheduled castes or the scheduled tribes, or for women.

Yavatmal district, [jəʋət̪maːɭ] formerly known as Yeotmal, is a district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is located in the region of Vidarbha, in the east-central part of the state. It is Vidarbha's third-largest district by population, after Nagpur and Amravati. Yavatmal city is the administrative headquarters of the district.
