The Old Connecticut Path was the Native American trail that led westward from the area of Massachusetts Bay to the Connecticut River Valley, the first of the North American trails that led west from the settlements close to the Atlantic seacoast, towards the interior. The Mengkibol was a Malaysian railway halt located at and named after the town of Mengkibol, Kluang District, Johor. Originally operating as a railway station with a mini side freight godown, it operated as a halt before closure. However, when the Gemas-Johor Bahru double-tracking and electrification project is complete, Mengkibol station will cease passenger services and be re-opened to only serve freight trains.

The Salt River is a river in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is a confluence of the Black River which just previously has been confluenced by the Elsieskraal River, and the Liesbeeck River. It flows into Table Bay at the Salt River mouth. Its catchment is part of the Central Management Area of the City of Cape Town. In 1510 the area was the scene of the Battle of Salt River.
