Methodist Episcopal Church, currently known as the United Methodist Church in Madison, [3] is a historic church at 24 Madison Avenue in Madison, Morris County, New Jersey, United States.
United Methodist Church in Madison is following the belief of Methodism, which is originated from Church of England.
Their mission statement:"Inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus, we welcome all to be nourished for life's journey through worship, community, and service". [4] Their core values: Worship; Community; Service/Social Action; Intergenerational Spiritual; Formation; Diversity; Drew/UMC Connection.
Although the congregation was formed in 1843, [3] the current Romanesque architecture was built in 1870 by Stephen Decatur Hatch. It was added to the National Register in 2008. [5]
History: After several relocations around Madison, property was given to the Methodists by Daniel Drew located next to the Drew University Campus in 1867. This would become the new location of the church and parsonage. Later the church was dedicated in 1871. In the following years, the church was remodeled and a chapel was added in 1890. [6]
Architecture: Methodist Episcopal church's wall is decorated with stained glass, an ornament used in western buildings for generating radiant lights due to light reflection.
Although the congregation was formed in 1843, the current Romanesque architecture was built in 1870 by Stephen Decatur Hatch. It was added to the National Register in 2008.

The famous Madison Farmer Market, sponsored by the Madison Urban Development Commission, sells fresh produce each year. And Madison May Day is a labor Day dedicated to the city.

The Metropolitan United Methodist Church is a church located at 8000 Woodward Avenue in the New Center area of Detroit, Michigan. It was completed in 1926, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, and designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1986. This church should not be confused with Metropolitan United Methodist Church in Washington, DC, which is often regarded as a National Church within the United States as it was specifically established by the General Conference to be a "representative presence of Methodism in the nation's capital".

Roberts Park Methodist Episcopal Church, whose present-day name is Roberts Park United Methodist Church, was dedicated on August 27, 1876, making it one of the oldest church remaining in downtown Indianapolis. Diedrich A. Bohlen, a German-born architect who immigrated to Indianapolis in the 1850s, designed this early example of Romanesque Revival architecture. The church is considered one of Bohlen's major works. Constructed of Indiana limestone at Delaware and Vermont Streets, it has a rectangular plan and includes a bell tower on the southwest corner. The church is known for its interior woodwork, especially a pair of black-walnut staircases leading to galleries (balconies) surrounding the interior of three sides of its large sanctuary. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 19, 1982. It is home to one of several Homeless Jesus statues around the world, this one located behind the church on Alabama Street.
St. Peter's Episcopal Church is an active and historic Episcopal church in the Diocese of Newark in Morristown, New Jersey. Located on South Street, St. Peter's congregation has roots going back to the 1760s. Officially founded in 1827, with the current building consecrated in 1911, it is notable for its gothic-revival architecture, medieval interior and fine stained glass. St. Peter's congregation has traditionally worshipped in the High Church tradition. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places, listed as a contributing property of the Morristown District, on October 30, 1973.
Trinity-St. James United Methodist Church is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. The congregation began as a Sunday school in the northwest part of the city organized by Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church. The evangelist Billy Sunday had preached a revival there and over 300 people joined the church. St. James Methodist Episcopal Church, as it was then known, was established shortly afterward in February 1910. The congregation originally used the closed Danish Lutheran Church at K Avenue NW and Fourth Street NW for their services, and they moved the building that summer to Ellis Boulevard NW. St. James grew to the point that a new building was needed. In 1945 property across the street was purchased, and local architect William J. Brown designed the new church facility. Construction began in September 1952 and it was completed in April 1954 for $165,000.

It is the oldest continuously operating Methodist congregation in Texas. The land where the church is located was purchased by the Methodist congregation in 1858. The church building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 21, 2011.

The Clinton Historic District is a 175-acre (71 ha) historic district encompassing much of the town of Clinton in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 28, 1995, for its significance in architecture, commerce, engineering, industry and exploration/settlement. The district includes 270 contributing buildings, one contributing structure, and three contributing sites. Five were previously listed on the NRHP individually: Dunham's Mill, M. C. Mulligan & Sons Quarry, Music Hall, Old Grandin Library, and Red Mill.
