Route 10 is a 23.51 mi (37.84 km) state highway in the northern part of the U.S. state of New Jersey. It runs from an intersection with U.S. Route 46 in Roxbury Township, Morris County east to County Route 577 /CR 677 in West Orange, Essex County. Route 10 is a major route through northern New Jersey that runs through Ledgewood, East Hanover, and Livingston. It is a four-lane highway for most of its length with the exception of the easternmost part of the route. Route 10 features intersections with many major roads including Route 53 and US 202 in Morris Plains and Interstate 287 (I-287) in Hanover Township.
Hanover Township is a township in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. At the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 13,712, reflecting an increase of 814 (+6.3%) from the 12,898 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,360 (+11.8%) from the 11,538 counted in the 1990 Census. The township comprises the unincorporated communities of Whippany and Cedar Knolls.

Construction of the historic station began in 1912 and the facility opened November 3, 1913. A station agent and waiting room are available weekdays. Denville is a large NJ Transit station in Denville. Located on Estling Road, the three-platform station serves both the Morristown Line and the Montclair-Boonton Line, with service to Hoboken or to New York City via Midtown Direct. The Morristown Line station is two low-level platforms located on a curve, with shelters and a mini-high platform while the Montclair-Boonton Line station is a single platform next to the closed Denville Tower. Denville Tower was constructed as an interlocking tower for the junction between the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad's Boonton Branch and Main Line. The station is the end of a short electrification stretch on the Montclair-Boonton Line and the second-to-last station seeing electrified service on the Morristown Line. After the fork, Morristown Line trains serve Mount Tabor station and Montclair-Boonton Line trains serve the Mountain Lakes station.

Speedwell Ironworks was an ironworks in Speedwell Village, on Speedwell Avenue, just north of downtown Morristown, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. At this site Alfred Vail and Samuel Morse first demonstrated their electric telegraph. Speedwell Ironworks also provided most of the machinery for the SS Savannah, the first steamship to cross the Atlantic Ocean. The site is still open to the public, and has seven buildings on display. The site, now named Historical Speedwell, is a historic site of the Morris County Park Commission.

Beaufort was a railway station on the Morristown and Erie Railway in Roseland, New Jersey in the United States. The same name is also rarely used for the neighborhood of southwestern Roseland near the former railway station. The station building currently houses the Orange-Alden Fuel Company. That address is 10 Eisenhower Parkway in Roseland and is near the Livingston border. The Beaufort station was located not far from what is today Beaufort Avenue in Livingston. Before the Eisenhower Parkway was built Beaufort Avenue continued from Livingston to Eagle Rock Avenue in Roseland.
