Mwinilunga is a constituency of the National Assembly of Zambia. [1] It covers the towns of Chimwishi, Lumwana, Mushinshi and Mwinilunga in Mwinilunga District of North-Western Province. The original Mwinilunga constituency was formed for the 1964 Legislative Council elections. In 1973 it was split into Mwinilunga East and Mwinilunga West. Mwinilunga East was subsequently renamed Mwinilunga in 2011, with Mwinilunga West being renamed Ikeleng'i. [2]
Solwezi is a town in Zambia. It is the provincial capital of the mineral-rich North-Western Province. Solwezi is also the administrative capital of Solwezi District, one of the eleven districts in the North-Western Province.

Chief Kanongesha is a Senior Chieftainship of the Kanongesha-Lunda people in the North-Western Province of Zambia, based about 40 kilometres (25 mi) west of the district headquarters, Mwinilunga. Kanongesha is one of three Lunda Senior Chieftainships in Zambia. The current Chief serves under the mantle Mulumbi Datuuma II.

The history of the Baháʼí Faith in Zambia began in 1952 with the arrival of a British pioneer named Eric Manton. The first local convert was Christopher Mwitumwa in 1954. The Baháʼí Faith has expanded considerably in Zambia since then; some estimates have put the Baháʼí population in Zambia as high as 241,112, though the Zambian Baháʼí community itself and UNdata have estimated around 4,000 adherents. The Baháʼí community of Zambia oversees several social initiatives, for instance in education with an emphasis on girls' education.

The T5 is a trunk road in Zambia. It connects Chingola in the Copperbelt Province with Solwezi and Mwinilunga in the North-Western Province. The route extends to end at the Jimbe border post with Angola. It is the only other road after the M18 road that connects the towns of the North-Western and Copperbelt provinces and is currently the main route motorists use to reach Angola from Zambia. The section of the road from Chingola to Mutanda is a toll road.
The M8 road is a road in the North-Western Province of Zambia. It connects Mutanda in Solwezi District with Zambezi Town via Mufumbwe, Manyinga & Kabompo.
