The Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST) is a civic transport and electricity provider public body based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It was originally set up in 1873 as a tramway company called "Bombay Tramway Company Limited". The company set up a captive thermal power station at the Wadi bunder in November 1905 to generate electricity for its trams and positioned it to also supply electricity to the city and re-branded itself to "Bombay Electric Supply & Tramways (BEST)" Company. In 1926, BEST also became an operator of motor buses. In 1947, the BEST became an undertaking of the Municipal Corporation and rebranded itself to "Bombay Electric Supply & Transport (BEST)". In 1995 the organisation was renamed to "Brihanmumbai Electric Supply & Transport (BEST)" alongside Mumbai. It now operates as an autonomous body under the Municipal Corporation.
Hafeez Sorab Contractor is an Indian architect. He has designed many skyscrapers in India, primarily in the city of Mumbai. As of 2019, he is the architect of the three tallest buildings in India – The 42 in Kolkata, and the twin towers of The Imperial in Mumbai. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in January 2016 by the Government of India.
Kandivali formerly Khandolee is a suburb in the north of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and has a large Marathi, Koli, Gujarati population followed by others. British records highlight a fact which is different from what is suggested in the rest of the article. The area names that ends with "vali" were the actual valleys to the small hills surrounding the area, and that's how we have Kandolee Valley to Kandivali.

As a general rule, Virar-bound fast trains skip Goregaon, while Borivali-bound fast trains halt here but being in middle between Andheri and Borivali ; it hosts as an important halt for termination and origination of Churchgate and Mumbai CSMT/ Panvel bound services with access to various areas of Dindoshi, Oshiwara, Film City and outlining areas from Malad and Jogeshwari.
The Howrah–Nagpur–Mumbai line is a railway line in India connecting Kolkata and Mumbai via Nagpur. The 1,968-kilometre-long (1,223 mi) railway line was opened to traffic in 1900.
Ram Mandir railway station is a railway station on the Western and Harbour lines of the Mumbai Suburban Railway, serving the Oshiwara locality. The station is located in between Jogeshwari railway station and Goregaon railway station and is named after the century-old temple of Lord Ram in its vicinity. The station was opened to commuters on 22 December 2016.
Line 6 (Pink Line) of the Mumbai Metro is a rapid transit metro line in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The 14.477 km (8.996 mi) elevated line will connect Lokhandwala Complex with Vikhroli and will have 13 stations.
