Pennsylvania Run Presbyterian Church is a historic church near Okolona, Kentucky. It was built in 1840 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It was then named Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church. [1]

The church was organized in 1799. A log building was replaced by its 1840 building, which is a one-room frame building with a gable roof. It has a one-story square tower with steeple and an open belfry. [2]

Warrior Run Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at Delaware Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. The church was restored in 1947, by the Warrior Run chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

The Buckhorn Presbyterian Church and the Greer Gymnasium are two historic log buildings located off KY 28 in Buckhorn, Kentucky. The church and the gymnasium, completed in 1928 and 1927 respectively, are the only two surviving buildings from Witherspoon College, a Buckhorn school which served grades 1–12. Presbyterian minister Harvey Murdoch established the church and school in 1902 in response to southeastern Kentucky's lack of educational facilities and permanent churches at the time. Both institutions grew rapidly; the school had 369 students by 1914, and when the new church building was constructed, the 865-member congregation was the largest rural Presbyterian church in Kentucky. The church and gymnasium were the last two buildings constructed for the college; the older buildings have since been lost to fire or demolition.

Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church near Laurinburg, Scotland County, North Carolina. The congregation was founded in 1797, and the current meeting house was completed in early 1856. It is a two-story, gable front Greek Revival style frame building. The land on which the church stands was donated by planter and politician Duncan McFarland. The current building was constructed between 1853 and 1856 by black freedman Jackson Graham under contract. The church was used for a short period by Union General William Tecumseh Sherman as his headquarters in March 1865 prior to the Battle of Bentonville. It is the oldest church building in Scotland County.

The South Cherry Street Historic District is a historic district mainly located along the 100 block of South Cherry Street in Greenville, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. The primarily residential district, which also includes properties on several neighboring streets, contains twenty-three buildings, eighteen of which are contributing buildings to the district's historical significance. The first house in the district was built in 1842 by Jonathan Short. Short was followed by several others in the 1840s and 1850s as Cherry Street became the favored neighborhood of Greenville's prosperous merchants. The early homes in the district were all designed in a vernacular Greek Revival style.
