Pioneer Street is the continuation of Boni Avenue east of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) in eastern Metro Manila, Philippines. [2] [3] The street has four lanes for most of its course beginning at the EDSA junction in Barangka Ilaya, Mandaluyong, where traffic emerges from the Boni Avenue tunnel, up to its easternmost point at the Shaw Boulevard junction at the boundary of barangays Kapitolyo and San Antonio in Pasig, adjacent to Ortigas Center. En route, it passes through the Robinsons Cybergate Complex where Forum Robinsons mall is located; [4] the United Laboratories plant; and Greenfield District, a mixed-use development south of Ortigas Center by the junction with Shaw Boulevard.[ citation needed ] Pioneer Street is also the location of several new condominium developments, call center sites and a few strip malls. It is served by Boni Station of the MRT-3 at EDSA.

Macapagal Boulevard

Macapagal Boulevard, also known as President Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard and Macapagal Avenue, is an eight-lane road in Metro Manila, Philippines, running parallel to Roxas Boulevard from the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex in Pasay to Asia World City in Parañaque. It was named after former President of the Philippines Diosdado Macapagal. This road has three major bridges, crossing the 'channels', of which the largest is the Libertad Channel, where the Libertad Water Pumping Station is situated. Thanks to intersection reconfiguring around EDSA to relieve traffic, Macapagal Boulevard is now often used to access the SM Mall of Asia to the north and Cavite to the south. It is also the main major road in Metro Manila's reclamation area called Bay City.

Boni station

Boni station is a Manila Metro Rail Transit (MRT) station situated on Line 3. It is the eighth station for trains headed to Taft Avenue and the sixth station for trains headed to North Avenue. It is located in Mandaluyong and is named so due to its proximity to Boni Avenue, which is in turn named after the nickname of Bonifacio Javier, a World War II guerilla leader and former mayor of Mandaluyong. It has several restaurants and shops that surround the station, including a public market located across the train station.

Julia Vargas Avenue

Julia Vargas Avenue is a central east–west arterial road that passes through Ortigas Center in Metro Manila, Philippines. It is a four-lane divided road with one-way protected bike lanes that runs parallel to Ortigas Avenue to the north and Shaw Boulevard to the south. The avenue stretches 2.3 kilometers (1.4 mi) from Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. Avenue in Ugong, Pasig in the east to Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Wack-Wack Greenhills, Mandaluyong in the west.

Boni Avenue is a major east–west thoroughfare in Mandaluyong, eastern Metro Manila, Philippines. It is a six-lane divided avenue that runs from Aglipay Street to Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA). After crossing EDSA via the EDSA-Boni tunnel, the road continues as Pioneer Street towards Pasig. The avenue is named after the nickname of Bonifacio Javier, a decorated guerrilla leader during World War II and former mayor of Mandaluyong.

ADB Avenue

Asian Development Bank Avenue, commonly referred to as simply ADB Avenue, is a short north–south thoroughfare in Ortigas Center, eastern Metro Manila, Philippines. It is an eight-lane divided road connecting Ortigas Avenue in the north to Julia Vargas Avenue in the south. It was formerly part of San Miguel Avenue, named after food and beverage giant San Miguel Corporation that is headquartered on the junction with Julia Vargas. This section of San Miguel Ave. from Julia Vargas to Ortigas Ave. was renamed in 1991 after the Asian Development Bank moved from its old building on Roxas Boulevard to its present 6.5-hectare headquarters on the avenue's junction with Guadix Drive.

San Miguel Avenue

San Miguel Avenue is a short north-south thoroughfare in Ortigas Center, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is an eight-lane divided avenue that runs for several hundred meters between Shaw Boulevard in the south and Julia Vargas Avenue in the north. It is named for the country's largest industrial conglomerate San Miguel Corporation that is headquartered on the avenue's junction with Julia Vargas since 1984.

Robinsons Cybergate Place

Robinsons Cybergate, also known as Robinsons Cybergate Complex and Cybergate City, is a mixed-use development located along EDSA corner Pioneer Street in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, Philippines. Owned by Robinsons Land Corporation, the development is anchored by four office buildings named Robinsons Cybergate Center Towers 1, 2, 3 and Robinsons Cybergate Plaza which has a Go Hotel.

The Metro Rail Transit Line 4, also known as MRT Line 4, is an approved monorail rapid transit line to be built in Metro Manila and Rizal in the Philippines. When completed, it will be the first monorail line in the Philippines and the second rapid transit line serving the province of Rizal after the extension of LRT Line 2 to Antipolo, and will significantly reduce the volume of vehicular traffic along Ortigas Avenue and improve connectivity in the eastern parts of the metropolis, including the nearby municipalities in southwestern Rizal.

Radial Road 5

Radial Road 5, more commonly referred to as R-5, is a network of roads and bridges that all together form the fifth radial road of Manila in the Philippines. The road links the City of Manila with Mandaluyong and Pasig in the east, leading out of Metro Manila into the province of Rizal and south towards Laguna. It is the only arterial road traversing the east side of the Laguna de Bay.

Greenfield District Place

Greenfield District is a transit-oriented mixed-use development next to a rail station in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is a redevelopment of the old United Laboratories (Unilab) pharmaceutical plant and adjacent retail market in the village of Highway Hills adjoining the Kapitolyo village of Pasig to the east. The 15-hectare (37-acre) mixed commercial and residential complex is in the crossroads of EDSA and Shaw Boulevard immediately south of the Ortigas Center financial district. It consists of an office tower, condominium high-rises, a central park, retail centers and recreational facilities.
