The Portuguese Rugby League Association is the governing body for the sport of rugby league football in Portugal. The Association was formed in 2005. [1]

Queensland Rugby League

The Queensland Rugby Football League (QRL) is the governing body for rugby league in Queensland. It is a member of the Australian Rugby League Commission and selects the members of the Queensland rugby league team.

Japan national rugby league team

The Japan national rugby league team, nicknamed the Samurais, represents Japan in rugby league football. Japan have played some international competition since 1994. The Japanese National Cup, the JRL domestic club competition, was founded in 1998. In 2021 the season was restarted after a break for COVID with five teams in two divisions, three clubs in East Japan, the Abiko Ducks, Mitaka Spartans and South Ikebukuro Rabbitohs; and two clubs in West Japan, the Kamisenryu Sea Turtles and The Kansai Kaminari.

The Portugal national rugby league team is the national rugby league team of Portugal. The captain of the team is Parramatta Eels' hooker, Isaac de Gois and their coach is Mal Speers.

Steeden Sports is an Australian sports equipment manufacturing company, mainly focused on rugby league. The company is mostly known for its rugby league footballs. Steeden was established in Queensland in 1958, when twins Eric and Raymond Steeden opened a factory in Brisbane, Australia, producing leather cricket balls, rugby league balls and boxing bags. The company moved to New South Wales in the 1960s, and was acquired by British sporting goods corporation Grays International in 1995.

Rugby union in Portugal

Rugby union in Portugal is a growing sport, though still a long distance from association football. The sport is essentially amateur in Portugal, with some degree of semi-professionalisation in its top flight league and the national rugby union team. The rugby union teams in Portugal are mostly university sides, from Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra, with multi-sport clubs like Benfica and Belenenses having rugby union collectivities.

ISC, also known as International Sports Clothing, is an Australian clothing manufacturer. The company was founded in the Sydney suburb of Rosebery in 1991. ISC mainly manufactures team uniforms for several sports, including Australian football, rugby league, rugby union, association football, cricket, basketball, netball as well as Schoolwear.

Rugby League Deutschland was the governing body for the sport of rugby league football in Germany. The Association was formed in 2007. It folded in March 2015, and was replaced by the Nationaler Rugby League Deutschland e.V. (NRLD). The NRLD became an affiliate member of the RLEF in December 2017.

The Czech Rugby League Association is the governing body for the sport of rugby league football in Czech Republic. The Association was formed during 4 October 2005. In 2011, the Czech Rugby League Association was admitted to affiliate membership of the Rugby League European Federation after reforming its governance.

The BARLA Cumbria Cup is an amateur rugby league knock-out competition for clubs in the county of Cumbria. The cup is administered by the Cumberland Amateur Rugby League Association, a branch of the British Amateur Rugby League Association, and has been played for since 1982.

The Jamaica Rugby League Association is the governing body for the sport of rugby league football in Jamaica. The Association was formed in 2004.

South African Rugby League

The South African Rugby League is the governing body for the sport of rugby league football in South Africa. The Association was formed in 1998.

The Sweden Rugby League is the governing body for the sport of rugby league football in Sweden. The Association was formed in 2009. The Swedish rugby league international side debuted in 2010 against their neighbours Norway.

The Denmark Rugby League is the governing body for the sport of rugby league football in Denmark. The Association was formed during 2009.

The Greek Rugby League Association (GRLA) has been governing body for the sport of rugby league football in Greece since 2017.
