The Estonia Rugby League Federation was the governing body for the sport of rugby league football in Estonia. The Association was formed during 1999 and dissolved in 2012.
The Moldova national rugby league team represented Moldova in the sport of rugby league football. It first competed into international competition in 1993. Moldova has not competed internationally since the 1995 Emerging Nations World Cup although a French author indicated that rugby league was still played in Moldova in 2011.

The Sunraysia-Riverlands Rugby League is a rugby league football competition in Victoria, Australia held by NRL Victoria. The league was formed in 1991 representing 5 clubs in the far south-west corner of New South Wales, along with 1 club from Victoria. During its first 4 seasons, the league was overseen by both the Country Rugby League & Victorian Rugby League, before the competition was disbanded in 1995.
The Latvia national rugby league team was established in 2008 to represent Latvia at rugby league football, and initially competed in the European Bowl, for fourth-tier developing nations. They beat Estonia in a two-game series and therefore won the inaugural tournament after Ukraine could not gain visas to travel. In 2009 they reached the second place after losing to Ukraine and defeating Estonia. In 2010 they played in the European Shield, losing to Russia and Ukraine. After a hiatus of several years, Latvia will return to international competition on May 9, 2015 for the first match of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup qualifying process, taking on Spain in a one-off knockout match to determine the final participants in the 'European C' section.

This competition is organised by the Rugby League European Federation and was designed to promote the sport of rugby league in Central Europe. The competition, contested by Austria, Germany and Estonia, was won by Germany.

The Danish Rugby League Federation is the governing body for the sport of rugby league football in Denmark and the Denmark national rugby league team, formed in November 2011 and granted observer status by the European Rugby League. In March 2024 the federation was expelled from the International Rugby League due to inactivity.
