The Ravenna Motor Vehicle Service Building, at 512 Main St. in Ravenna, Kentucky, is a Modern Movement-style Kentucky National Guard building constructed in 1949. It was listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places in 2000. [1]

It is a one-and-a-half-story red brick building with a large garage door centered on each of its ends. It is adjacent to the old Ravenna Armory, and was used as a storage facility for military vehicles and equipment. [2]

The Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant at 699 Ponce de Leon Avenue in the Poncey-Highland neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia was the headquarters of the Ford Motor Company's southeastern US operations from 1915 to 1942. As a result of good sales in Atlanta, and a desire to decentralize production, Ford established a combined assembly, sales, service and administration facility on Ponce de Leon Avenue, selling a peak of 22,000 vehicles per year. The assembly plant produced Model Ts, Model As and V-8s until 1942, when the plant was sold to the War Department and a new plant was opened in the Atlanta suburb of Hapeville.

The Sankot Motor Company, also known as the Sankot Garage, is a historic building located in Belle Plaine, Iowa, United States. The historical significance of this building is its association with the increase in all-season travel and the development of businesses to serve them along the Lincoln Highway, the United States's first transcontinental route. It is a brick front building with side walls of clay tile that was constructed on a concrete foundation. The west half of the building was added in 1927. It was operated by O.B. Charles and Sid Sankot until 1937. They also sold Chryslers. Gasoline was sold from 1920 to 1944. F.L. Sankot bought the business in 1937. In addition to vehicle repair he sold Case and Oliver tractors and implements. William and Jerry Sankot purchased the business in 1985, and limited it to passenger, commercial and agricultural vehicle repairs. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. It was included as a contributing property in the Belle Plaine Main Street Historic District in 2013.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania)</span> United States historic place

The Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant is a historic former automobile assembly plant in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Located along a stretch of Baum Boulevard nicknamed "Automobile Row" due to its high concentration of auto-related businesses, the plant was built in 1915 by Ford Motor Company to assemble Ford Model T cars using the company's pioneering mass production processes. It was designed by Ford's corporate architect John H. Graham, Sr. and constructed from reinforced concrete. The plant consists of an eight-story main building which contained the assembly areas and a vehicle showroom, and a six-story crane shed which was used to hoist parts unloaded from the adjacent Pennsylvania Railroad tracks to the appropriate level for assembly. Due to the steeply sloping site, the building has only five stories above grade along the street elevations.

The New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles Building, also known as the Looman Building, is a historic International Style office building located at 25 South Montgomery Street in the city of Trenton in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. It was designed by the architectural firm Kramer, Hirsch & Carchidi and completed in 1961 by Looman Associates. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 20, 2023, for its significance in architecture.
