Seaboard Air Line Railway Building, also known as the Wainwright Building, is a historic office building located in Norfolk, Virginia. It was built in 1925-1926 as headquarters for Seaboard Air Line Railroad. It is a nine-story, 92,000 square-foot, steel reinforced concrete building. It is "V"-shaped and faced in textured yellow brick with numerous stone decorative elements in the Late Gothic Revival style. [3]
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. [1] The building was converted to luxury apartments in 2013 and is now known as The Wainwright Downtown.

Main Street Station serves as a secondary train station for Richmond providing limited Amtrak service directly to downtown Richmond. Several Amtrak trains serving the Richmond metropolitan area only stop at the area's primary rail station, Staples Mill Road which is located five miles to the north in Henrico County.
Broad Street Station was a union railroad station in Richmond, Virginia, United States, across Broad Street from the Fan district. The building is now used by the Science Museum of Virginia.
The Boca Express Train Museum, operated by the Boca Raton Historical Society, is housed in a restored 1930 Florida East Coast Railway train station in Boca Raton, Florida. designed by Chester G. Henninger, built for Clarence H. Geist. It is located at 747 South Dixie Highway, off U.S. 1. On October 24, 1980, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
The Raleigh and Gaston Railroad was a Raleigh, North Carolina, based railroad opened in April 1840 between Raleigh and the town of Gaston, North Carolina, on the Roanoke River. It was North Carolina's second railroad. The length was 100 miles (160 km) and built with 4 ft 8 in gauge. Part of the Raleigh and Gaston's tracks remains in service today as part of CSX's S Line as the Norlina Subdivision of CSX's Florence Division.
Petersburg Union Station is a former train station in Petersburg, Virginia. It was built in 1909–1910 for the Norfolk and Western Railway, and was later used by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad and Amtrak.
Oakton Trolley Station is a historic trolley station located at Oakton, Fairfax County, Virginia. The Washington, Arlington & Falls Church Railway, which operated electric trolleys that travelled between Fairfax City and downtown Washington, D.C., from 1904 to 1939, constructed the station in 1905. The building has a three-story vernacular frame. It has a rectangular plan, with a wrap-around open porch, weatherboards and a tin roof.
The Luray Norfolk and Western Passenger Station is a historic train station located in Luray, Virginia, United States. The Shenandoah Valley Railroad reached Luray in 1881 and constructed a station near where the present station is located. Shortly after the Norfolk and Western Railway absorbed the Shenandoah Valley Railroad in 1890, plans arose to construct a new station in Luray. This station, which still stands, was constructed in 1906 and was designed by the railroad's Chief Engineer, Charles S. Churchill. The structure was partially destroyed by fire in 1908 when it was struck by lightning; however, it was soon thereafter reconstructed according to the original design. The station is a one-story brick structure featuring a hip roof. The building was converted to freight use around 1960 and was sold to the town of Luray by the Norfolk and Western's successor, the Norfolk Southern Railway, in 1999.
Charlottesville and Albemarle County Courthouse Historic District, also known as the Charlottesville Historic District is a national historic district located at Charlottesville, Virginia. The district encompasses the previously listed Albemarle County Courthouse Historic District and includes 269 contributing buildings and 1 contributing object in the city of Charlottesville. It includes the traditional heart of the city's commercial, civic, and religious activities, with early residential development and industrial sites located along the fringe. The commercial core is located along a seven block Downtown Mall designed by Lawrence Halprin (1916-2009). Notable buildings include the Albemarle County Courthouse, Levy Opera House, Number Nothing, Redland Club, Eagle Tavern, United States Post Office and Courts Building (1906), Christ (Episcopal) Church (1895-1898), Beth Israel Synagogue (1882-1903), Holy Comforter Catholic Church (1925), First Methodist Church (1924), McIntire Public Library (1919-1922), and Virginia National Bank (1916). Old Norfolk City Hall, also known as the Seaboard Building and U.S. Post Office and Courthouse, is a historic city hall located at Norfolk, Virginia. It was built in 1898–1900, and is a three-story faced with rusticated stone and yellow brick in a Neo-Palladian Revival style. It features a central pedimented engaged portico with Corinthian order pilasters that contains the main entrance. The building housed a post office and Federal courts until they moved to the Walter E. Hoffman United States Courthouse about 1935. Title to the building was transferred from the U.S. government to the city of Norfolk in 1937, when it was converted into a city hall.
Seaboard Coastline Building, also known as Old City Hall, is a historic train station located at Portsmouth, Virginia. The original section was built in 1894-1895 by the Seaboard Air Line Railroad. It is a five-story brick and concrete structure, with the top two floors added in 1914. The front facade features a distinctive half-round or semicylindrical profile intended to recall the imagery of the streamlined locomotives of the late-19th century. The building served as the northern terminus and office headquarters of the Seaboard Air Line until 1958, then used as the municipal building until 1980.

The courthouse square is the cultural and historic center of the district. Seaboard Air Line Railway Depot in McBee is a historic train station located at McBee, Chesterfield County, South Carolina. It was built in 1914, and is a one-story, red brick building in a modified rectangular plan. It has a sharply pitched hipped roof. After Seaboard discontinued passenger service in the 1960s, the McBee depot stood unused until the 1980s when the building was restored for use as the McBee Depot Library and Railroad Museum.
Seaboard Air Line Railway Depot in Patrick is a historic train station located at Patrick, Chesterfield County, South Carolina. It was built in 1900 by the Seaboard Air Line Railroad, and is a 1 1/2-story frame building with a simple rectangular plan. It has a moderately pitched gable roof with two small, red brick chimneys at its peak.
