The second Hasina cabinet was the Government of Bangladesh during the 9th legislative session of the Jatiya Sangsad following the 2008 general election, and serving from 6 January 2009 until 24 January 2014. [1]

The Bangla Academy is the official regulatory body of the Bengali language in Bangladesh. It is an autonomous institution funded by the Government of Bangladesh that fosters the Bengali language, literature and culture, works to develop and implement national language policy and conducts original research in Bengali. Established in 1955, it is located in the Burdwan House in Shahbagh, Dhaka, within the grounds of the University of Dhaka and Suhrawardy Udyan. The Bangla Academy hosts the annual Ekushey Book Fair.

The High Court Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh popularly known as the 'High Court' is one of the two divisions of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, the other division being the Appellate Division. It consists of the Chief Justice of Bangladesh and the Judges of the High Court Division.

Suranjit Sengupta was a Bangladesh Awami League politician. He resigned in 2012 as the first Railway Minister of Bangladesh. He was the member of parliament from Sunamganj-2 constituency in the Jatiya Sangsad and a member of the party's advisory council. He was the chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on the Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry.

Comilla Victoria Government College is a college in Comilla, Bangladesh. It is one of the oldest and most renowned colleges in Comilla as well as in the Chittagong division. The college is located beside of Ranir Dighi on 32 acres of land including its intermediate and honors section.

Syed Abul Hossain was a Bangladeshi businessman and politician. He was the managing director and chairman of SAHCO International Ltd. He served as a member of Bangladesh Parliament for four terms during 1991–1995 and 1996–2014 representing the Madaripur-3 constituency. He served as the Minister of Information and Communication Technology (2011–2012), Minister of Communications (2009–2011) and State Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives (1996–1997).

National Professor is a prestigious teaching award given by the Government of Bangladesh for outstanding contribution on the field of education. It is awarded by the president of Bangladesh according to Bangladesh National Professor Resolution 1981. The awarded persons receive various facilities from the government.

National Sports Awards are given by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of Bangladesh for specific contributions in the field of games and sports. The award was introduced in 1976. As of 2011, total 175 sports personalities won the award.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Second Khaleda ministry</span>

The second Khaleda cabinet was the Government of Bangladesh during the 8th legislative session of the Jatiya Sangsad following the 2001 general election. The cabinet took office on 10 October 2001 and left office on 29 October 2006. The Prime Minister and head of the government was Khaleda Zia.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Third Hasina ministry</span>

The Third Hasina ministry was the cabinet of the People‘s Republic of Bangladesh headed by Sheikh Hasina that was formed after the 2014 general election which was held on 5 January 2014. The Awami League was assured of victory, with its candidates declared victors in 127 of the 154 uncontested seats by default. The elected MPs and Cabinet were sworn in on 9 January.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Shamsul Hoque Tuku</span> Bangladeshi politician

Shamsul Hoque Tuku is a Awami League politician and incumbent Deputy speaker of Member of Parliament. He is the former Ministry of Home Affairs of Government of Bangladesh for in the second Sheikh Hasina led Awami League government. Tuku was elected to Parliament from Pabna-1 in 2008, 2014, 2018 and 2024.

National Information and Communication Technology Awards is the only state and highest prize in the Information and Communication Technology sector of Bangladesh. The award is being given since 2017.

Mostafa Faruque Mohammad was a Bangladesh Awami League politician. a member of Jatiya Sangsad representing the Jessore-2 constituency. He served as the Minister of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) during 2012–2014.
