Thomas Wilcher is a college football administrator for Michigan State University and former high school athletic coach and teacher as well as a former National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I track and field and college football athlete for the University of Michigan. He was the NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships national champion in the indoor 55 m hurdles and a three-time NCAA All-American in track and field. Wilcher was also a running back for the Michigan Wolverines football team from 1983–1986. In his redshirt senior year, he was a member of the Big Ten Conference football champion team as well as a 110 m hurdles Big Ten individual champion. Wilcher was a 9th round selection by the San Diego Chargers in the 1987 NFL draft.
John Kenneth Doherty was an American decathlon champion, college track and field coach, author and longtime director of the Penn Relays. While a student at the University of Michigan, Doherty won the American decathlon championship in 1928 and 1929 and won the bronze medal in the event at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam. He later served as a track coach at Princeton University (1929–1930), the University of Michigan (1930–1948), and the University of Pennsylvania (1948–1957). He was also the meet director for the Penn Relays from 1956 to 1969 and of the first dual track meet between the United States and the Soviet Union in 1959. He was also a published author of works on track coaching, and his Track & Field Omnibook was regarded as "the track coach's bible" from the 1970s through the 1990s. Doherty has been inducted into at least six athletic halls of fame, including the National Track and Field Hall of Fame and athletic halls of fame at the University of Pennsylvania, University of Michigan, and Wayne State University.
Jeffrey Issack Porter is an American track and field athlete who competes in the 110-meter hurdles. He has a personal best of 13.08 seconds for the event. He gained a spot on the American Olympic team by coming third at the 2012 United States Olympic Trials. He repeated his third place at the 2016 United States Olympic Trials to make his second Olympic team. On June 25, 2017, he announced his retirement from track and field.

SAC Relays, is tied on sixth on the all time list. In 2016, he became the world junior champion in both the 200 meters and 4×100 meter relay. In 2022, he became the world champion in both the 400 meters and 4x400 meter relay.
Nicholas Steven "Nick" Christie is an American racewalker. Christie is a multiple time National Champion at the NAIA level and has been the US National Champion for the indoor 3000m Racewalk. He has competed internationally for the US many times since 2012 and at the national level many times as well. As of 2013 he is one of the many rising stars that the sport has in the United States as it gains popularity in the nation. He is also the current national record holder for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics in the Indoor 3000m racewalk with a time of 11:46.20.
Steven Clifton Orlando Holman is a retired American middle-distance runner who competed primarily in the 1500 meters. He represented his country at the 1992 Summer Olympics as well as two indoor and two outdoor World Championships. Holman was coached at Georgetown University and in his professional career by Frank Gagliano.
Donavan Brazier is an American middle-distance runner. He holds the American junior record in the men's 800 meters and won the gold medal at the 2019 World Championships. With a time of 1:42.34, he was the American national and NACAC area record holder in the event from 2019 until 2024, when Marco Arop and Bryce Hoppel ran 1:41.20 and 1:41.67 to break the NACAC record and American record respectively.

On July 1, 2016, at the 2016 Olympic Trials, Hill threw a new personal best of 21.63 m to finish third and qualify for the 2016 Olympics. His previous personal best of 21.16m was set just two weeks earlier at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California.

Ronnie Baker is an American professional track and field athlete specializing in the sprints. Over 60 meters his personal best time of 6.40 seconds makes him the third-fastest man in the event in history. He was champion over 60 m at the USA Indoor Championships in 2017, a medalist over 60 m at the World Indoor Championships in 2018, and a gold medallist in the 4 × 100 m relay at the World Relays in 2017. Baker was a dominant competitor over 100 m in the Diamond League circuit in 2018, winning four races and placing no worse than second, including in the final where he also placed second. He was the fastest man in the world in 2017 over 60 m, and the second fastest in 2018 over both 60 m and 100 m. In college he competed for the TCU Horned Frogs, where he was champion over 60 m at the NCAA Division I Indoor Championships in both 2015 and 2016. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Ronnie Baker ran the personal best of 9.83 in the men's 100m semi-finals, which made him the 6th fastest man in the history of Olympics 100m event.
Donald Douglas Scott is an American track and field athlete who competes in the triple jump. Scott earned bronze medal in triple jump at 2022 World Indoor Championships. He holds a wind-aided personal best of 17.74 m, set in 2019. He equalled that mark, to win the 2019 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He is a 2017 and 2019 U.S. Indoor Triple Jump Champion and a 2018 U.S. Outdoor Champion. Scott is a third-year volunteer coach at Eastern Michigan University.
C. Frank Zarnowski is an American author, historian, coach, TV commentator, statistician and public address announcer for track and field events, specializing in the decathlon. Since 1970, Zarnowski has coached and announced at national track and field championships. On five occasions between 1975 and 2012, he was the public address announcer when the decathlon world record was set. In addition to publishing the weekly DECA Newsletter, Zarnowski's non-profit website, DECA: The Decathlon Association, is a resource for both the history, rules, and background of the decathlon, as well as up-to-date results from recent events. Several of Zarnowski's books on track and field have been nominated for national awards, including Olympic Glory Denied, and All-Around Men: Heroes of a Forgotten Sport. As a highly regarded authority on the decathlon, Zarnowski also provides expert commentary on the event in print and online media. Zarnowski was professor of economics at Mount St. Mary's University from 1967 to 2008 and has held the same position at Dartmouth College since 2002. He has coached track and field, as well as cross-country, at Lehigh University and Mount St. Mary's University.
