The United States Soccer Federation (USSF), commonly referred to as U.S. Soccer, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the official governing body of the sport of soccer in the United States. U.S. Soccer sanctions referees and soccer tournaments for most soccer leagues in the United States. The U.S. Soccer Federation also administers and operates the U.S. Open Cup and the SheBelieves Cup.

The 2023 CONCACAF U-17 Championship will be an international football tournament that wil be held in Guatemala from 11 to 26 February 2023. The twenty participating national teams were required to register a squad of up to 20 players, of which two have to be goalkeepers. Only players in these squads are eligible to take part in the tournament. The tournament exclusively requires players to be born between 1 January 2006 and 31 December 2008 to be eligible, that is, they must be a maximum of 17 years old and at least 15 years old by the end of the calendar year in which the competition is played.
