Worthing is a city in Lincoln County, South Dakota, United States and is located south of Sioux Falls. The population was 927 at the 2020 census. [5]
Worthing was laid out in 1879, and named after a railroad employee. [6]

The average household size was 2.7 and the average family size was 3.13.
