The Yates-Flora House is a historic mansion in Macon, Mississippi, U.S.. It was built in 1868 for John Lee Williams. [2] It was designed in the Greek Revival architectural style. [2] In 1906, it was purchased by E. V. Yates, a large landowner. [2] It remained in the Yates family until 1961. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 2, 1982. [3]

Dr. Henry Spence Cobblestone Farmhouse and Barn Complex is a historic home located at Starkey in Yates County, New York. The farmhouse was built about 1848 and is a massive 2+12-story, five-bay, center hall building decorated with elements associated with the Greek Revival style. The cobblestone house is built of small, reddish lake washed cobbles. The farmhouse is among the nine surviving cobblestone buildings in Yates County. Also on the property are the remains of six contributing support structures.

The district consists of 65 acres (26 ha) and contains 281 structures, 210 of which are contributing. It includes a broad range of architecturally significant resources that document the village's development from the 1820s to 1929. It includes representative examples of residential, commercial, industrial, civic, and ecclesiastical structures. Highlights include the Birkett Mills, the Chronicle Building, Knapp Hotel, and the Castner House. Located within the boundaries of the district are the separately listed Yates County Courthouse Park District and the U.S. Post Office building (1912–1913).

Yates Tavern, also known as Yancy Cabin, is a historic tavern located near Gretna, Pittsylvania County, Virginia. The building dates to the late-18th or early-19th century, and is a two-story, frame building sheathed in weatherboard. It measures approximately 18 feet by 24 feet and has eight-inch jetty on each long side at the second-floor level. It is representative of a traditional hall-and-parlor Tidewater house. The building was occupied by a tavern in the early-19th century. It was restored in the 1970s.

The Alonzo J. and Flora Barkley House is a historic building located in Boone, Iowa, United States. Alonzo Barkley was a local banker who was involved in real estate and local politics. His first wife, Henrietta Trickey, died in 1889. He married Flora Spencer two years later. He had this house built in 1893. It is a two-story frame Queen Anne with Shingle style influences. The Shingle style, along with the Eastlake and Stick styles, were rare in central Iowa. Typical of the Queen Anne style, the house features an asymmetrical plan with steeply pitched irregular roof forms. The upper two-thirds of the house is covered in shingles. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The Robertson-Yates House is a historic house on a former plantation in Hernando, Mississippi. It was built in 1850 for John Robertson, a settler, and his wife Susan. It was inherited by their daughter Annie Eliza Robertson, and her husband George Yates.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Hurlbut–Yates House</span> United States historic place

The Hurlbut–Yates House is a historic house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1891 for Aeneas Hurlbut, who had served in the American Civil War of 1861–1865 before moving to Nebraska. It was designed in the Queen Anne and Stick/Eastlake styles by architect Ferdinand C. Fiske. In 1893, it was purchased by Charles Yates, who lived here with his wife Ruth, their two sons and two daughters. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 17, 1999 as Aeneas Hurlbut–Charles Yates House.
