Alejandro Sánchez Pizarro, better known as Alejandro Sanz, is a Spanish musician, singer and composer. He has won 22 Latin Grammy Awards and four Grammy Awards. He has received the Latin Grammy for Album of the Year three times. The singer is notable for his flamenco-influenced ballads, and has also experimented with several other genres including pop, rock, funk, R&B and jazz.
Bacilos is a latin pop duo currently consisting of Jorge Villamizar and André Lopes. They have released 7 albums and 2 EPs. Their album Caraluna (2002) won the 2003 Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album, and their album Sin Vergüenza (2004) was nominated in 2005 for the same award. They have achieved success with singles "Mi Primer Millón" and "Caraluna".
Tomás Torres Carrasquillo, known professionally as Tommy Torres, is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and record producer. Named "#1 Hot Latin Tracks Producer" of 2007 by Billboard magazine and Composer of the Year at 2010 ASCAP's Latin Music Awards, Torres has written and produced songs for many artists including Ricardo Arjona, Jesse & Joy, Ednita Nazario, Alejandro Sanz, Ricky Martin and Alicia Keys.
Paraíso Express is the ninth studio album recorded by Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz. It was released by WEA Latina on November 10, 2009, and was produced by Tommy Torres, mixed by Bob Clearmountain, mastered by Ted Jensen. This album is the follow-up to the Grammy Award-winning albums No Es lo Mismo (2003) and El Tren de los Momentos (2006). All the tracks included were written by Sanz, along with several writers, a first for the singer, and also the first album without help by Emmanuele Rufinengo and Lulo Pérez, his longtime producing team. Paraíso Express received a nomination for an Album of the Year and won Best Male Pop Vocal Album at the 11th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. It is also won a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album in the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2011.
Mario Alberto Domínguez Zarzar, known as Mario Domm, is a Mexican singer, songwriter and record producer. A founding member of the pop rock band Camila, he has won four Latin Grammy Awards; four Billboard Awards; 11 Premios Lo Nuestro; 14 SACM awards; five Juventud Awards, five Telehit awards, four MTV Awards, eight ASCAP Awards, three Gaviotas de Plata Awards and three Gaviotas de Oro Awards, seven Monitor Latino Awards, two Los 40 Principales Awards, one Orgullosamente Latino Award, and a recognition as a musical genius by Telehit.
"No Me Compares" is a song recorded by the Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz. It was released as the first single from his ninth studio album La Música No Se Toca (2012) and based on the opening theme song in the telenovela Amores verdaderos. The song was released for digital download on June 25, 2012. In the day of release, he put a Lyric video on his VEVO channel on YouTube and at the end of the video, he announced the name of his new album, La Música No Se Toca. The single was nominated for Song of the Year and Record of the Year at the 13th Annual Latin Grammy Awards.
