The 2013 V8 Supercar season was the seventeenth year in which V8 Supercars contested the senior Australian touring car series. It was the 54th year of touring car racing in Australia since the first runnings of the Australian Touring Car Championship, now known as the International V8 Supercars Championship, and the fore-runner of the present day Bathurst 1000, the Armstrong 500.
The season began on 1 March at the Adelaide Street Circuit and finished on 8 December at the Homebush Street Circuit. 2013 featured the seventeenth V8 Supercar Championship, consisting of 36 races at 14 events covering all six states and the Northern Territory of Australia as well as events in New Zealand and for the first time, the United States of America. There was also a stand-alone event supporting the 2013 Australian Grand Prix. The season also featured the fourteenth second-tier Dunlop V8 Supercar Series , contested over seven rounds. For the sixth time a third-tier series was run, the Kumho Tyres V8 Touring Car Series.

The season began on 19 March 2009 at the Adelaide Street Circuit and finished on 29 November at Sandown Raceway after eight events across four different states with two rounds per event. Team BRM driver Joey Foster became the second successive champion from Great Britain, holding off 2007 series champion Tim Macrow by eight points. In the National classes, Tom Tweedie was champion in National A, recording three top-three overall finishes and twelve class wins, while Peter Kalpakiotis was champion in National B as he was the only driver to contest more than one meeting.
The Super3 Series is an Australian motor racing competition for touring cars. In 2019 it became the official third tier series for Supercars competitors, while the series itself remains independently owned and managed from Supercars. The cars must be deregistered cars from official Supercar teams and series, this is mainly as a preventive measure against a team building a brand new car to suit the regulations. The series is currently known by the commercial identity of the Kumho Tyres Super3 Series.

It commenced at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on 20 April and concluded at The Bend Motorsport Park on 25 August.
