ExWhyZ, formerly known as Empire, is a Japanese alternative idol girl group formed between WACK and Avex Trax in 2017. They have released six studio albums, five EPs, and five singles since their formation. They re-branded to ExWhyZ in 2022 and re-debuted under EMI Records.
WACK is a Japanese music production company specialising in alternative idols. The company was founded by Junnosuke Watanabe in 2014, following the first disbandment of Bis and the formation of Pla2me.
Mameshiba no Taigun (豆柴の大群), stylized as MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN, was a Japanese alternative idol girl group formed through the reality survival show Monster Idol which featured on TBS Television's variety show Wednesday's Downtown in 2019. They debuted on December 19, 2019, with "Restart". They ceased activities as Mameshiba no Taigun in January 2024 after merging with Tonai Bousho to form Mameshiba no Taigun Tonai Bousho a.k.a. MonsterIdol.

Sard Underground is a solo project of Yua Shinno produced by Daiko Nagato. In September 2019, as a musical group, they debuted with their cover album Zard Tribute under the Giza Studio label. As a solo project of the Japanese artist Zard, the name is derived from Zard.
Yoasobi is a Japanese pop duo formed in 2019 by Sony Music Entertainment Japan. It is composed of musician and record producer Ayase and singer-songwriter Lilas Ikuta, under the moniker Ikura. With the slogan "novel into music", the duo originally released songs based on selected short stories posted on Monogatary.com, a social media website for creative writing operated by the label. Sources later also come from various media like stories written by professional authors, books, letters, plays, etc.
Maison Book Girl was a Japanese alternative idol girl group formed in 2014. They released their debut album, Bath Room, on September 23, 2015. They disbanded on May 30, 2021.

Naniwa Danshi (なにわ男子) is a Japanese boy band formed by Starto Entertainment on October 6, 2018. It consists of seven members who primarily come from the Kansai region. The group's official debut announcement was made on July 28, 2021, through their label Storm Labels. Their debut single, "Ubu Love", was released on November 12, 2021. Naniwa Danshi is the fourth Starto Entertainment group from the Kansai region after KinKi Kids, Super Eight, and West. to make an official debut. The name "Naniwa" refers to the old name of Osaka. In just 4 months they sold 1.14 million physical copies in Japan.
