5 Star is a chocolate bar produced by Cadbury's and sold in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil, South Africa, the Philippines and Egypt. [1] [2] It is described as a "caramel and nougat" mix covered with "smooth milk chocolate" and is sold in a golden wrapper decorated with stars. [1] [3]

History

5 Star was launched in India in 1969. [4] [5] In 2016 it was launched in Malaysia and the Philippines in 15g 'mini-bars', 45g standard bars and 150g sharepacks (of 10 mini-bars). [5] It was launched in Brazil the same year but under Cadbury's sister brand Lacta. [1]

5 Star has also been widely distributed in South Africa since 2017 as a replacement for the defunct Tempo bar. [6]

In 2019, 5 Star was released in UK shops and supermarkets for a limited time only.

In India, 5 Star is also available in Fruit & Nut, Crunchy and Chomp flavours. [1] [7]

Cadbury Creme Egg

A Cadbury Creme Egg is a chocolate confection produced in the shape of an egg, originating from the British chocolatier Fry in 1963. Before being renamed by Cadbury in 1971. The product consists of a thick chocolate shell containing an enzymatically-derived sweet white and yellow filling that resembles fondant. The filling mimics the albumen and yolk of a soft boiled egg from a fowl such as a chicken or goose.

Wispa is a brand of chocolate bar manufactured by British chocolate company Cadbury. Using aerated chocolate, the bar was launched in 1981 as a trial version in North East England, and with its success it was introduced nationally in 1983. It was seen as a competitor to Rowntree's Aero . In 2003, as part of a relaunch of the Cadbury Dairy Milk brand, the Wispa brand was discontinued and the product relaunched as "Dairy Milk Bubbly". As part of the relaunch, the product was reshaped as a standard moulded bar instead of a whole-bar count-line.

Milo is a chocolate flavoured malted powder product produced by Nestlé, typically mixed with milk, hot water, or both, to produce a beverage. It was originally developed in Australia by Thomas Mayne in 1934.

Crunchie is a brand of chocolate bar with a honeycomb toffee sugar centre. It is made by Cadbury and was originally launched in the UK by J. S. Fry & Sons in 1929.

Boost (chocolate bar) Brand of chocolate bar

Boost is a brand of chocolate bar manufactured by Cadbury. The bar is sold in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa by Cadbury Ireland and UK. The wrapper says that it consists of milk chocolate with a caramel and biscuit filling. The wrapper also states that Boost is "charged with glucose".

Picnic is a brand of chocolate bar consisting of milk chocolate and peanuts, covering chewy nougat, caramel, biscuit and puffed rice. Picnic bars are lumpy in shape. It is sold in Australia, parts of Canada, New Zealand, New York City, San Francisco Bay Area, India, Ireland, Russia, Ukraine, South Africa and the United Kingdom. The UK and Indian versions differ from the Australasian version in that they also contain raisins.

Starbar

Starbar is a brand of chocolate bar manufactured by Cadbury. The bar has a chocolate covering and is filled with caramel and crushed roasted peanuts. The product is also sold in Canada and Germany under the name Wunderbar.

Frys Chocolate Cream

Fry's Chocolate Cream is a chocolate bar developed by J. S. Fry & Sons and currently manufactured by Cadbury. Launched in 1866, Fry's Chocolate Cream is the first mass-produced chocolate bar and is the world's oldest chocolate bar brand. The original chocolate bar consists of a plain fondant centre enrobed in plain chocolate. Variants include Peppermint Cream, Orange Cream, Raspberry Cream and Strawberry Cream.

Fuse is a brand of chocolate bar manufactured by Cadbury in India, originally produced in the United Kingdom. The original product was 70% a solid bar of milk chocolate, and 30% nuts, peanuts, raisins, crisp cereal and fudge pieces suspended within it.

Dream (chocolate)

Dream is a brand of white chocolate by Cadbury. It is no longer manufactured in the UK and Ireland, but is still produced in Australia and South Africa. It is similar to a Milkybar, which is made by Nestlé. Some of the difference between it and Milkybar is that "Dream" uses real cocoa butter, is slimmer than the Milkybar, and the Milkybar uses puffed rice. Cadbury also released 'Cadbury White Giant Buttons' and plan to release 'Freddo White Treasures'.

Cadbury Eclairs

Cadbury Eclairs are a confectionery currently manufactured by Cadbury. Invented by the Birmingham based confectionary company Taveners in 1932, they were adapted into a Dairy Milk version of Eclairs in 1965. They are available in bags or rolls and can be found in the Cadbury Heroes selection. Eclairs are currently available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Kenya, Hong Kong, South Africa and India, where they are known as "Dairy Milk Eclairs". In 2013 Mondelēz International updated the UK ingredients list to add in the inclusion of palm oil in the recipe. In 2013 Cadbury rebranded its product to Choclairs in India.
