The AECOM Building, [1] formerly known as the Penton Media Building, and the Bond Court Building, [2] is a commercial high-rise building in Cleveland, Ohio. The building rises 253 feet (77 m) in Downtown Cleveland. [3] It contains 21 floors, and was completed in 1972. [4] The AECOM Building currently stands as the 29th-tallest building in the city, tied in rank with the Ohio Savings Plaza and Ameritech Center. The architectural firm who designed the building was Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, [3] who also designed Chicago's Willis Tower and Dubai's Burj Khalifa. The building is a part of the Bond Court complex. [4] The Bond Court area used to contain nightclubs and bars but was cleared in the 1960s to 1970s for the office block and the Westin Hotel Cleveland.
The modernist tower served as the world headquarters of Penton Media from 2000 until the company's merger with Prism Business Media. [5] Penton Media signed a 10-year lease agreement to occupy the building in 2000; in the process, the building was also renamed from the "Bond Court Building" to the "Penton Media Building". [2]
In 2010, Optima International LLC bought the Penton Building, they own the One Cleveland Center building diagonally across the street from the Penton Building. Optima is a Miami-based real estate investment firm led by Chaim Schochet and 2/3rd owned by the Privat Group, one of Ukraine's largest business and banking groups. [6]
In early 2016, the design and construction firm AECOM, following its acquisition of URS Corporation, merged three of its Downtown Cleveland offices together on the fourth, fifth, and a portion of the sixth floor of the Penton Media Building. AECOM also purchased branding rights, changing the name from Penton Media Building to AECOM Building. [1]
The AECOM Building is similar in appearance to New York City's One Liberty Plaza and Chicago's Richard J. Daley Center.

Fifth Third Center is a skyscraper located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio along Superior Avenue. The building has 27 stories and rises to a height of 446 ft, encompassing 515,000 square feet (47,800 m2). Currently, it is the sixth tallest building in Cleveland. Designed by RTKL Associates, the building was originally constructed as Bank One Center in 1991. In 2003, it was renamed when Fifth Third Bank of Cincinnati relocated to the structure.
PNC Center is a skyscraper located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio at the northwest corner of Euclid Avenue and East 9th Street. The building has 35 stories and rises to a height of 410 feet (120 m), and was designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. Construction on the building was finished in 1980. It served as the headquarters for the now defunct National City Corporation, and is now the Cleveland–area offices for PNC Financial Services.
The 9 Cleveland is a residential and commercial complex located in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio, United States, at the corner of East Ninth Street and Euclid Avenue. It includes three buildings, the largest of which is a 29-story, 383 feet (117 m) tower commonly known by its previous name of Ameritrust Tower and formerly known as the Cleveland Trust Tower. 500 West Jefferson, previously known as PNC Plaza for several decades until renamed in 2020, and now also called 500W or 500 West by its owners, is a skyscraper in Downtown, Louisville, Kentucky and located at 500 West Jefferson Street. Previously owned by Pittsburgh-based PNC Bank and currently owned by SomeraRoad Inc, the 31-story, 420-foot (128 m) high structure was designed by architect Welton Becket and was completed in 1971. A notable feature of the building is the pattern of pre-cast concrete panels on the exterior of its windows. The building, originally named Citizens Fidelity Plaza, was named after Citizens Fidelity Bank and renamed PNC Plaza when Citizens Fidelity was acquired by PNC Bank.
55 Public Square is a 22-story skyscraper located at number 55 Public Square, the town square of downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Designed by Carson & Lundin, it is 300 feet tall, was completed in 1958, and was the first new skyscraper built in Cleveland since the Terminal Tower complex was completed in 1930. It was also the first tall International Style building in the city and the first to use a reinforced concrete frame.
The Centennial, formerly The 925 Building, and Huntington Building, originally the Union Trust Building, is a high-rise office building on Euclid Avenue in the Nine-Twelve District of downtown Cleveland, Ohio, USA. When the building was completed in 1924, it was the second largest building in the world in terms of floor space, with more than 30 acres of floor space. It also included the world's largest bank lobby, which today remains among the largest in the world. The lobby features enormous marble Corinthian columns, barrel vaulted ceilings, and colorful murals by Jules Guerin.
Fifth Third Center at One SeaGate is the 2nd tallest building in Toledo, behind the Cleveland Cliffs Furnace Tower. Until 2006, the building served as the world headquarters for Owens-Illinois. In 2007, Fifth Third Bank moved their Northwest Ohio headquarters to the building. The building's name comes from the plaza in which it is located, which includes three other small buildings. The tallest is only nine floors high. The plaza also includes the entrance to a near-abandoned mall which leads to Imagination Station. The fact that there is no beach on the Maumee River allows buildings to be built on the river's edge - a characteristic used in the design of One Seagate. Other Toledo landmarks built on the river's edge include Promedica's downtown offices, Promenade Park, the Toledo Port Authority, Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel, Owens Corning, and Imagination Station.
1100 Superior is a skyscraper in downtown Cleveland, Ohio's emerging Nine-Twelve District, which is also home to One Cleveland Center, Ohio Savings Plaza, The 925 Building, PNC Center, and the former Eaton Center. It was built in 1972 for the important San Antonio, Texas firm of Diamond Shamrock which specialized in oil refining, it has 23 floors and rises to a height of 282 feet (86 m). It was designed by the firm of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill which also designed the nearby AECOM Building, and the Willis Tower in Chicago, Illinois. The firm was a leader in the modernist tower block design at the time of construction which believed in three principals: heavy metal anchoring, profuse windows for air and light, and simple muted dark colored facade paneling that gave their landmark buildings a "natural" organic look.
Centre Square is an office complex in Center City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The complex consists of two concrete high-rise towers: the 417 feet (127 m) Centre Square I, also known as Centre Square East, and the 490 feet (150 m) Centre Square II represent the 24th and 15th-tallest buildings in Philadelphia, respectively. Designed by Vincent Kling & Associates in the 1960s, Centre Square opened in 1973. The complex is credited with shifting Philadelphia's downtown office district from South Broad Street to West Market Street. A tenant since 1975, management consulting firm Willis Towers Watson is Centre Square's largest tenant.

The Ohio Savings Plaza currently stands as the 33rd-tallest building in the city, tied in rank with the Penton Media Building and Ameritech Center. The architect who designed the building was George S. Ryder. Ohio Savings Plaza has a tunnel which can be accessed from within a janitor's closet and leads directly to a restroom in the Phoenix Coffee across the street.

It contains 16 floors, and was completed in 1983. AT&T Center currently stands as the 31st-tallest building in the city, tied in rank with the Penton Media Building and the Ohio Savings Plaza. The architectural firm who designed the building was Madison Madison International. AT&T Center contains offices of the Dallas-based AT&T Corporation.
Safeco Plaza is a 50-story skyscraper in Downtown Seattle, Washington, United States. Designed by the Naramore, Bain, Brady, and Johanson (NBBJ) firm, it was completed in 1969 by the Howard S. Wright Construction Company for Seattle First National Bank, which relocated from its previous headquarters at the nearby Dexter Horton Building.
Chaim Schochet is an American real estate executive, developer, and manager at Optima Ventures, once the largest holder of real estate in Downtown Cleveland.
