A southern segment of 51.44 miles (82.78 km) begins at U.S. Route 79 at Eagle Mills and heads north to U.S. Route 67 in Malvern before terminating. The northern segment of 174.17 miles (280.30 km) runs from AR 5 to U.S. Route 63 in Mammoth Spring. The route was created during the 1926 Arkansas state highway numbering, and has seen only minor extensions and realignments since. Pieces of both routes are designated as Arkansas Heritage Trails for use during the Civil War and the Trail of Tears.
Highway 160 is a designation for four state highways in South Arkansas. The northernmost segment of 51.55 miles (82.96 km) runs from Farm to Market Road 249 at the Texas state line near Bloomburg, Texas east to Highway 19 at Macedonia. A second segment of 14.73 miles (23.71 km) runs east from Highway 57 east to Highway 7 Business in Smackover. In southern Calhoun County, Highway 160 begins at US Route 278 (US 278) and runs east to US 425 in Fountain Hill. A fourth segment begins at US 82 and runs 22.73 miles (36.58 km) east to US 65 at Chicot Junction.
Highway 4 is a designation for two state highways in Arkansas. The western segment of 2.99 miles (4.81 km) runs from SH-4 at the Oklahoma state line and terminates in Cove. An eastern segment of 22.49 miles (36.19 km) begins at U.S. Route 278 (US 278) in McGehee and heads east to Arkansas City then north to Highway 1 before terminating. The two routes were formerly connected until a portion of approximately 230 miles (370 km) was redesignated US 278 in 1998. The eastern segment is part of the Great River Road.
Arkansas Highway 264 is a designation for three state highways in Benton County, Arkansas. The eastern route begins at US 71B and runs 7.75 miles (12.47 km) east to terminate at Beaver Lake. At 13.15 miles (21.16 km), the Highfill to Lowell route is the longest alignment. The westernmost routes runs 2.73 miles (4.39 km) in Siloam Springs.
Arkansas Highway 280 is a state highway in Clay and Greene Counties. The route runs 5.85 miles (9.41 km) from Arkansas Highway 90 near Delaplaine north then east to AR 90 in Peach Orchard. It does not intersect any other state highways.
