The Brick Schoolhouse is a historic one-room schoolhouse at 432 New Hampshire Route 123 in Sharon, New Hampshire. Built in 1832, it is the only of the town's three such buildings to survive, and was the only one made of brick. It is also the only school building now standing in the town, since its students have been schooled in neighboring Peterborough since 1920. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, [1] and the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places in 2001. [2]
The Brick Schoolhouse is located in a rural setting of central Sharon, on the east side of Route 123 north of its junction with Mountain Road. It is set on a grassy rise above the road. It is a single-story structure 26 feet (7.9 m) wide and 30 feet (9.1 m) long, with a gabled roof. The main facade faces south, and has the main entrance at its center, flanked by short transom-like fixed windows. The side walls each have two sash windows. The interior is divided into two sections, with an entry vestibule 5 feet (1.5 m) deep, and the schoolroom occupying the rest of the building. The original wooden desks still occupy their places. [3]
The school was built in 1832, after another district school located nearby was destroyed by fire. As it was the second on that site to suffer that fate, the town decided to build the third school out of brick. It was one of three district schools the town built during the 19th century, and remained in use as a school until 1920, when the town began sending its students to Peterborough. The building continued until 2007 to serve municipal purposes, seeing uses as a town meeting site, polling place, and town records repository. [3]

Opened in 1925, the building served as a public high school for 31 years and a junior high school for an additional 22 years before being transitioned in 1979 into its current role as the administrative headquarters for the Bend-La Pine School District.
The District #2 Schoolhouse, known locally as the Garfield School and also known as Brunswick District No. 2 School, located in Brunswick, New York, United States, is a two-room schoolhouse built and opened in 1881. It hosted local students until the consolidation of Brunswick (Brittonkill) Central School District in the mid-1950s. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1988, becoming the first building in the Town of Brunswick to be added to the Register. It is the current home of the Brunswick Historical Society.

Strang School District No. 36, or the Strang Public School, is a historic school located in Fillmore County, Nebraska, in the village of Strang. The school is one of the two sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the village of Strang. The school building is a small, two-story, brick public schoolhouse, which was built to replace the schoolhouse that was previously located on that site. The schoolhouse was built between 1929 and 1930, and replaced the previous schoolhouse, which burned down in 1928. The schoolhouse still retains all original building materials. The school served high school students from 1930 to 1951, and still functions as a school today, serving grades K–8. The NRHP listing also includes a flagpole located outside the schoolhouse, and five pieces of playground equipment.

The North Weare Schoolhouse is a historic school building on Old Concord State Road in northern Weare, New Hampshire. Built about 1856, it is a stylistically distinctive vernacular mixing of Federal, Greek Revival, and Italianate styling. It is the most architecturally distinctive of Weare's surviving 19th-century schoolhouses. It was used as a public school until 1952, and then served as a grange hall until the 1980s. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The building served as a school until 1926, and is now a private residence. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Huddleston, designed many buildings for the University of New Hampshire as the first campus architect. The grounds of the school are also notable as the burial site of Obo II, considered the father of the American Cocker Spaniel breed of dog. The property was listed with statewide significance on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.
