Brookfield is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within White Township, in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. [6] As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 675. [7]

According to the United States Census Bureau, Brookfield had a total area of 0.212 square miles (0.548 km2), including 0.211 square miles (0.546 km2) of land and 0.001 square miles (0.002 km2) of water (0.35%). [4] [8]

Census 2010

The 2010 United States census counted 675 people, 448 households, and 212 families in the CDP. The population density was 3,202.6 per square mile (1,236.5/km2). There were 502 housing units at an average density of 2,381.8 per square mile (919.6/km2). The racial makeup was 98.07% (662) White, 0.74% (5) Black or African American, 0.00% (0) Native American, 0.30% (2) Asian, 0.15% (1) Pacific Islander, 0.44% (3) from other races, and 0.30% (2) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.19% (8) of the population. [7]

Of the 448 households, 0.0% had children under the age of 18; 45.3% were married couples living together; 1.3% had a female householder with no husband present and 52.7% were non-families. Of all households, 51.1% were made up of individuals and 49.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.51 and the average family size was 2.04. 0.0% of the population were under the age of 18, 0.1% from 18 to 24, 0.7% from 25 to 44, 7.0% from 45 to 64, and 92.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 75.9 years.
