The Dowling House, at 321 S. Main St. in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, was built in 1886. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. [1]

It is a two-and-a-half-story west-facing brick house, with a three-story central pavilion. It was modified in 1915 and after 1930 and has elements of Italianate and Queen Anne architecture. [2]

The listing included a second contributing building, a carriage house. [2]

The Judge Charles P. McCarthy House is a two-story Prairie school duplex which was constructed in Boise, Idaho in 1913. It was adapted from a Frank Lloyd Wright design published in the April 1907 edition of Ladies Home Journal Magazine, where readers could purchase plans for a flat rate, or have them customized by Wright's office for a 10% premium. It appears as a classic prairie-style design with horizontal design elements, including a low-pitch roof with deep hipped roof overhangs.

Lacawac is a historic estate located in Paupack Township and Salem Township, Wayne County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1903, as a summer estate of Congressman William Connell (1827-1909). Six of the eight buildings remain. They are the main house, barn, spring house, pump house, Coachman's Cabin, and ice house. The buildings are in an Adirondack Great Camp style. The main house is a 2+12-story frame dwelling with a cross gable roof. It features two-story porches and the interior is paneled in southern yellow pine.

The Reid House at 1325-1327 Peachtree St., NE, in Atlanta, Georgia, known also as Garrison Apartments and as 1325 Apartments, was built as a luxury apartment building in 1924. It was the third luxury apartment building built in Atlanta. It received a $2 million renovation during 1974 and was converted to a luxury condominium building in 1975. The ten-story building was designed by architect Philip T. Shutze of architectural firm Hentz, Reid and Adler in Classical Revival architecture. The 1974 renovation was by architect Eugene I. Lowry.

The Samuel Lawson Dowling House is a historic residence in Ozark, Alabama. The house was built in 1870 by Samuel Lawson Dowling, whose family was one of the first groups to settle in Dale County, Alabama. Lawson's grandfather, Dempsey, was a Methodist minister who came to the Wiregrass Region from Darlington County, South Carolina, and helped found Claybank Church near Ozark. Samuel was a farmer, county treasurer, and construction contractor who built the first Methodist church in town.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Harlie Whitcomb Farm</span> United States historic place

The Harlie Whitcomb Farm is a historic farm property on George Street in Orange, Vermont. The property, which includes a pre-1869 farmhouse, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, because the 10-acre (4.0 ha) property also included an octagonal three-story barn, one of a very few known in the state. The barn has since been demolished.

The Holmes–Tallman House is a large farmhouse with Carpenter's Italianate style located northwest of Jamesburg, at the corner of County Route 535 and County Route 522, in Monroe Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey. Also known as Brown's Corner House, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 12, 1979, for its significance in architecture.
