The Masonic Temple Lodge No. 420 is a building in the Ogle County, Illinois city of Oregon. It has historically been known as 628-628 S. Fourth St. The building is one of several in the 100 Block of Oregon's South Fourth Street that is a contributing property to the Oregon Commercial Historic District, some others include the buildings at 125 S. Fourth St. and 127 S. Fourth St. As part of the historic district the Temple Lodge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as of August 2006.
Princeton Downtown Commercial District is a historic district in downtown Princeton, Kentucky centered on the 1940s art deco courthouse. The district includes 44 contributing resources: 42 buildings, Big Spring Park, and the Confederate Soldier Monument. Most resources are located along East and West Main Street, East and West Court Square Street, and the adjacent buildings on West Market Street, South Harrison, West Washington, and South Jefferson. Most of the buildings are one or two-story brick structures built from the 1870s to the 1930s.
The Old Dauphin Way Historic District is a historic district in the city of Mobile, Alabama, United States. It was named for Dauphin Way, now known as Dauphin Street, which bisects the center of the district from east to west. The district is roughly bounded by Broad Street on the east, Springhill Avenue on the north, Government Street on the south, and Houston Avenue on the west. Covering 766 acres (3.10 km2) and containing 1466 contributing buildings, Old Dauphin Way is the largest historic district in Mobile.
Loop Retail Historic District is a shopping district within the Chicago Loop community area in Cook County, Illinois, United States. It is bounded by Lake Street to the north, Ida B. Wells Drive to the south, State Street to the west and Wabash Avenue to the east. The district has the highest density of National Historic Landmark, National Register of Historic Places and Chicago Landmark designated buildings in Chicago. It hosts several historic buildings including former department store flagship locations Marshall Field and Company Building, and the Sullivan Center. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 27, 1998. It includes 74 contributing buildings and structures, including 13 separately listed Registered Historic Places, and 22 non-contributing buildings. Other significant buildings in the district include the Joffrey Tower, Chicago Theatre, Palmer House, and Page Brothers Building. It also hosts DePaul University's College of Commerce, which includes the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and the Robert Morris College.
The Ann Street Historic District is a historic district encompassing part of Downtown Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut. A commercial and light industrial area, the district includes properties along Ann Uccello Street from Chapel Street south to Hicks Street. It also includes properties east of Ann Street fronting Pearl Street and Hicks Street to roughly Haynes Street, as well as properties west of Ann Uccello Street fronting Allyn and Asylum Streets to roughly a third of the block. The district's architecture typifies the city's development between about 1880 and 1930; it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
The Downtown Commercial Historic District in Muscatine, Iowa is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. At that time, it included 93 contributing buildings, one other contributing object, and 18 non-contributing buildings. The city of Muscatine was established as Bloomington in 1836. The original town was built on land that is generally flat along the Mississippi River. Residential areas were located on the surrounding hills. Commercial and industrial interests developed on the flatter land near the river. Muscatine's commercial and industrial center had developed in a 12-block area along Front Street, now Mississippi Drive, and 2nd Street between Pine Street and Mulberry Street by 1874. This area, represented by the Downtown Commercial Historic District, is the city's original commercial area. Within its boundaries is a large number of 19th-century commercial buildings, many of which were modified in the first half of the 20th century.
The Enid Downtown Historic District is located in Enid, Oklahoma and listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2007. In 2019 the district was expanded from 7 blocks to 21. The district includes the original downtown plat from 1893, part of the Jonesville addition plat from 1898, and part of the Weatherly addition plat from 1902.
The Masonic Temple Building is a historic Prairie-style building in Oak Park, Illinois, at the corner of Oak Park Avenue and Lake Street. It is in the Ridgeland-Oak Park Historic District and was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
The Tenino Downtown Historic District is two blocks long, one-half block-deep on either side of Sussex Street in Tenino, Washington. Approximately three acres in size, the district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 25, 2004. Sussex Street is the main thoroughfare through Tenino and is also part of Washington State Route 507.
Downtown Fargo District, or Downtown Fargo Historic District, is a historic district in Fargo, North Dakota that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
The Barre Downtown Historic District encompasses the historic commercial and civic heart of the city of Barre, Vermont. Extending along Main Street from City Park to Depot Square, this area was developed quite rapidly in the 1880s and 1890s, when the area experienced rapid growth due to the expansion of the nearby granite quarries. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
The Downtown Commercial Historic District encompasses most of the central business district of Burlington, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. The historic district includes 65 properties that were part of a 2012 to 2013 survey of the area. It also includes as contributing properties the buildings in the West Jefferson Street Historic District and three buildings in the Manufacturing and Wholesale Historic District that were previously listed on the National Register. All total there are 122 resources within the district, which includes 108 contributing and 14 non-contributing properties.
