East Tambaram is a neighborhood in Tambaram, a city located on the east coast of South India. It is one of the main residential areas of the metropolitan region. It features the main shopping center, Poondi Bazaar, a large park and library. Many of the streets are named after writers and poets of India, including Kambar Street, Vyasar Street, Bharadwajar Street, Kalamegam Street, Manimegalai Street, and Thiruvalluvar Street and Alwars like Nammalwar Street, Kulasekara Alwar Street, Madhurakavi Alwar Street, Thirumangai Alwar Street, Periya alwar street and Andal Street.

East Tambaram has many schools that attract the children and young adults of Chennai. The local college is Madras Christian College.

Behror is a city in the Kotpulti-Behror district of Rajasthan of the Jaipur division. It serves as the administrative headquarters of the eponymous Behror Tehsil and shares headquarters for Kotputli-Behror district with Kotputli. It is equidistant from both sate capital Jaipur and national capital New Delhi. Thoraipakkam also spelt Thuraipakkam, also known as Okkiyam Thuraipakkam or Oggiyamduraipakkam, is an area of Chennai, India. It is one of the stops on what is called as the IT expressway, on Old Mahabalipuram Road, now known as Rajiv Gandhi Salai, the first six lane road in Chennai. Okkiyam Thoraipakkam is on the eastern banks of the Pallikaranai marsh which has been designated as a reserve forest area and is one of the few remaining significant natural ecosystems within Chennai. Thoraipakkam is 3 km in length, starting from Perungudi to its north. It is located exactly in the middle of the OMR Road.

Alwar State was a kingdom from 1770 to 1818 and a princely state under British rule from 1818 to 1947. Initially its capital was Macheri and then the city of Alwar. The nobility of Alwar State belonged to the Naruka branch of the Kachwaha dynasty. The kingdom was established by Naruka chief Rao Raja Pratap Singh in 1770 CE. Alwar State was one of the 19 princely states of former-Rajputana, which existed at the time of Indian Independence. Tambaram, is one of the railway terminals of the Chennai Beach–Tambaram section of the Chennai Suburban Railway Network. It is situated at a distance of 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from the centre of Tambaram. It is situated in South Chennai and located 27 kilometres (17 mi) from Chennai Beach station. It is one of the fastest-growing railway hubs outside Chennai Central in the southern direction. Every day, on an average, around 3,50,000 commuters use the station. About 500 suburban electric trains operate from Tambaram, including those between Chennai Beach and Chengalpattu and Kancheepuram. Further, more than 25 express trains, including those bound for Howrah and other places in the northern India, pass through the town. It is also the third busiest station in the city. It is one of the four railway terminals within Chennai City. The daily ticket sales at Tambaram fetch 1 million, half of which comes from suburban travellers. It is the second most revenue-generating station in Chennai after Moore Market Complex. A total of 52 trains pass through the station.

Khanpur Ahir or Khanpur Aheer is a village in Mundawar Mandal in Alwar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Khanpur Ahir is 40 km (25 mi) from its district headquarters, Alwar. It is 140 km (87 mi) from its state capital, Jaipur.
