Dale was an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Western Australia from 1950 to 1989.
Dale was a mostly rural district based to the east of Perth. It was a safe seat for the Liberal Party. The district was abolished ahead of the 1989 state election, when its last member Fred Tubby won the new seat of Roleystone.

The Division of Grayndler is an Australian electoral division in the state of New South Wales.
The 1962 United States House of Representatives elections was an election for the United States House of Representatives in 1962, which occurred in the middle of President John F. Kennedy's term. As in most midterm elections, Kennedy's Democratic Party lost seats to the opposition Republican Party, but retained a majority. House Democrats were expected to lose their majority, but the resolution over the Cuban Missile Crisis just a few weeks prior, led to a rebound in approval for the Democrats under President Kennedy.

Collie-Preston is a Legislative Assembly electorate in the state of Western Australia. While the seat was known as Collie for just over a century of its existence as an electorate, the seat was known as South West Mining from 1901 to 1904, and Collie-Wellington from 2005 to 2008. It is named for the South West coal mining town of Collie. While historically a very safe seat for the Labor Party, redistributions in 1988 and 2007 due to increases in the quota for country seats which had historically been malapportioned resulted in the seat incorporating surrounding rural shires which were hostile to Labor and thereby becoming more marginal.

MacKillop is a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly. It was named in 1991 after Sister Mary MacKillop who served the local area, and later became the first Australian to be canonised as a Roman Catholic saint. MacKillop is a 25,313 km² rural electorate in the south-east of the state, stretching south and west from the mouth of the Murray River to the Victorian State border, but excluding the far-southern point of the state,. It contains the Kingston District Council, Naracoorte Lucindale Council, District Council of Robe, Tatiara District Council, Wattle Range Council, as well as parts of The Coorong District Council. The main population centres are Bordertown, Keith, Kingston SE, Meningie, Millicent, Naracoorte, Penola and Robe.
The Shire of Beverley is a local government area in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia about 130 kilometres (80 mi) southeast of Perth, the state capital. The Shire covers an area of 2,372 square kilometres (916 sq mi), starting 20 kilometres (12 mi) outside Armadale in the Darling Scarp and extending eastwards beyond the scarp into agricultural lands which support broad acre activities such as livestock and cropping. Its seat of government is the town of Beverley, which accommodates just over half of the Shire's population.
Michigan's 5th congressional district is a United States congressional district in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. The district is currently represented by Democrat Dan Kildee. His uncle, Dale Kildee, previously represented the district. It is currently a mostly industrial area, with Arenac County, Iosco County, and Tuscola County being the main exceptions. From 2003 to 2013 it encompassed much of the area south of Saginaw Bay. It consisted of all of Tuscola and Genesee counties and the southeast portion of Bay and the eastern portion of Saginaw counties in the eastern-central portion of the state during that time. The district was extended into the upper mitt for the 2012 redistricting and most of Tuscola County was cut out.
State elections were held in South Australia on 25 November 1989. All 47 seats in the South Australian House of Assembly were up for election. The incumbent Australian Labor Party led by Premier of South Australia John Bannon defeated the Liberal Party of Australia led by Leader of the Opposition John Olsen. Labor won 22 out of 47 seats, and secured a majority of 24 with the support of two Independent Labor members.
