Everest House [1] is a high-rise commercial building located on Chowringhee Road in Kolkata, India.
Everest House is the second tallest building in the central business district of the city after Chatterjee International Center. Built in 1978, the building has a total height of 84 metres (276 ft) and 21 floors. The building houses numerous offices, while the ground floor consists of showrooms.
Radhanath Sikdar was an Indian mathematician who is best known for calculating the height of Mount Everest. He was the first person to calculate the height of Mount Everest, in 1852.
