Iskandar Puteri is a city and the administrative capital of the state of Johor, Malaysia. It is situated along the Straits of Johor at the southern end of the Malay Peninsula, it is also the southernmost city of continental Eurasia. Together with the adjacent cities of Johor Bahru and Pasir Gudang, it is located within the Johor Bahru District, the second largest district in Malaysia by population. The 15th busiest container port in the world, Port of Tanjung Pelepas, is also located in the city.

The Iskandar Malaysia Bus Rapid Transit (IMBRT) was a bus rapid transit system to be built in and around Iskandar Malaysia, Johor, Malaysia. It was to have consisted of trunk, direct, and feeder bus rapid transit corridors. The project was cancelled in 2024 due to insufficient capacity to handle projected traffic.
Iskandar Investment Berhad, or IIB, is a corporate entity providing investment capital to the development corridor of Iskandar Malaysia, in South Johor at the tip of the Malay Peninsula. It was formed on 2 November 2006 as South Johor Investment Corporation Berhad. IIB focuses on Iskandar Puteri or Flagship Zone B. A Heads of Agreement was signed to form a new company to drive the development of catalyst projects. The Iskandar Investment shareholding structure is as follows: Khazanah Nasional (60%), EPF (20%) and Kumpulan Prasarana Rakyat Johor Berhad (KPRJ) (20%), a company wholly owned by the Johor State Government. The 23 km (14 mi) highway connects Iskandar Puteri in the west to Johor Bahru in the east. It is a toll free highway and part of the Iskandar Malaysia project. The Iskandar Coastal Highway is the fifth east–west-oriented expressway in the Iskandar Malaysia area after the Pasir Gudang Highway, the Pontian–Johor Bahru Link of the Second Link Expressway, the Senai–Desaru Expressway and the Johor Bahru East Coast Highway.

Bandar Nusa Bayu or Nusa Bayu, is a township in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia. The township is bordered by Setia Eco Gardens and Jelutong Hills forest to the north, Second Link Expressway to the west, Nusajaya Southern Industry Logistic Center (SILC) to the south, and GP Prima Transport Hub to the east. The township is part of the Iskandar Malaysia Flagship B and the Iskandar Puteri Master Plan. Formerly in the Nusajaya Master Plan, Nusa Bayu was known as Nusajaya Industrial Park, together with SILC. The development commenced in 2010 and began to be occupied since 2013 onward.
