Gotham City is a themed area based on Gotham City at several amusement parks around the world. First opening at Six Flags Magic Mountain in 1994, the themed area has since expanded into multiple Six Flags amusement parks and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. [1] [2] Although the layout and attractions are not identical and vary at each park, they all thematically connect with each other.

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi

During the grand opening ceremony on 26 July 2018, the park was inaugurated by Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the Warner Bros. Plaza. [7]

It opened on May 29, 1971, as a development of the Newhall Land and Farming Company and Sea World Inc. In 1979, Six Flags purchased the park and added "Six Flags" to the park's name.

Batman: The Ride is an inverted roller coaster based on the DC Comics character Batman and found at seven Six Flags theme parks in the United States and at least one outside the US. Built by consulting engineers Bolliger & Mabillard, it rises to a height of between 100 and 105 feet and reaches top speeds of 50 mph (80 km/h). The original roller coaster at Six Flags Great America was partially devised by the park's general manager Jim Wintrode. Batman: The Ride was the world's first inverted roller coaster when it opened in 1992, and has since been awarded Coaster Landmark status by the American Coaster Enthusiasts. Clones of the ride exist at amusement parks around the world.

Parque Warner Madrid is a theme park located 23 km (14 mi) southeast of Madrid, Spain, in the municipality of San Martín de la Vega. The park opened as Warner Bros. Movie World Madrid/Warner Bros. Park Madrid on 6 April 2002 and was owned by numerous Spanish investment groups, with Six Flags operating the park as part of the deal. In November 2004, the management arrangement with Six Flags was terminated, with the name change to Parque Warner Madrid occurring at the start of 2006.

Formula Rossa is a launched roller coaster located at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Manufactured by Intamin, the ride set a speed record when it opened on 4 November 2010, becoming the fastest roller coaster in the world with a maximum speed of 240 km/h (149.1 mph). It surpassed Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure, which had held the record since 2005. In addition to its top speed, the coaster propels riders from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in approximately two seconds and will reach its maximum speed in 4.9 seconds.

Hamdan is the younger brother of both former UAE president Khalifa bin Zayed and the current president, Mohamed bin Zayed.

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is the world's second largest indoor theme park in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, owned and developed by Miral at a cost of $1 billion. The park features characters from Warner Bros.'s franchises, such as Looney Tunes, DC Comics, Hanna-Barbera, and others. The park is located on Yas Island near Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld and CLYMB Abu Dhabi, and is the third Warner Bros. theme park. Warner Bros. Plaza is a themed land at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. The area is inspired by the 1930s Golden Age period of Hollywood and hosts attractions themed to this concept, including The Starlight restaurant, and the Cinema Spectacular show. The Warner Bros. Plaza features tall golden and turquoise Pueblo Deco skyscrapers, as well as a ceiling that is a projection of the sky. At night the ceiling projects fireworks throughout the Plaza as well as the other lands.
