Gracehill Moravian Church and Cemetery is a historic church and cemetery located southwest of Washington, Iowa, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
The name Gracehill reflects the religious aspirations of the founders of the settlement. There are also similarly-named places in other countries, for example Gracehill in Ireland. In 1854 the Provincial Board of the Moravian Church provided the funds to Amos Miksch to buy a substantial amount of property to create a Moravian settlement. [2] Lots of various sizes were sold to colony members. Gracehill was organized in 1866, and the church building was completed the next year.
The cemetery was laid out the same year. The church is a simple rectangular, frame structure that measures 50 by 30 feet (15.2 by 9.1 m). [2] A two-stage bell tower rises over the main entrance. From 1908 until it closed in 1970 Gracehill was the last of Iowa's seven Moravian communities. [2] While the congregation continued until 1970, the last resident minister left in 1932. Graves in the cemetery were originally laid out with men on the north and women on the south. After the 1890s people were buried in family plots.

Graceham Moravian Church and Parsonage is a historic church building and parsonage located at 8231 Rocky Ridge Road, MD 77 in Graceham, east of Thurmont, Frederick County, Maryland. It is a two-story Flemish bond brick church built in 1822, and covered with white stucco because of deteriorated masonry. The church was built as an addition to the adjacent meeting house and parsonage built in 1797. This building and the church's cemetery having uniform flat gravestones represents Maryland's only remaining 18th century Moravian settlement.

Bay Settlement Church and Monument is a historic church building and structure located in rural Delaware County, Iowa, southwest of Delhi. Organized in 1846 as the Upper Bay Church, it was the first Free Baptist Church congregation in Iowa. They built a log structure for their church the same year, and it served the congregation until this frame, front gable structure was completed in 1873. A monument to honor their 14 Civil War dead was erected in the cemetery in 1865. Its dedication in August that year is believed to be the first Memorial Day service in Iowa. Services were held on May 30 in succeeding years. The church and monument were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Benjamin Chapel and Richwoods Cemetery, also known as Richwoods Methodist Protestant Church or simply Richwoods Church, is a historic church located south of the unincorporated community of Trenton in rural Henry County, Iowa, United States. This front gable, frame church building was built by a congregation of the Methodist Protestant Church in 1877. The congregation itself was formed sometime after 1843. The building has two entrances on the main facade, one for men and the other for women. The genders then sat separately on their respective sides of the church building. The interior still has the original pews with dividers. There is also a small tower, capped with a spire, above the facade. The Methodist Protestant Church continued to maintain the building until 1921 when they sold it to the Benjamin Chapel Association. The association was named for Benjamin B. Allender, who was instrumental in building the church. Regular church services and Sunday school classes were held until 1940, and occasionally until 1952. The cemetery behind the church was a burial ground for the Methodist congregation as well as other residents from the Richwoods area. It is still an active burial ground. The church and cemetery were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The cemetery was established in 1843 when the first burial took place. It is significant as a representation of the pioneer settlement era and the development of the village of Cottage Hill, no longer extant, and the surrounding area. Its period of significance continues until 1909 when the last settler was buried here. The last burial here was in 1991.

The historic district made up of the former parish church and cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019. It is significant for the architecture of the Gothic Revival church and the influence of the German-Catholic immigrants who settled the area.
