Hamidullah Qalandarzai was born in Surkh Rod district of Nangarhar Province,Afghanistan. [1] He is the former governor of Khost Province,replacing Arsala Jamal.
Qalandarzai completed his primary education at Rahimi Primary School in Surkh Rod district of Nangarhar. In 1984,he graduated from Nangarhar High School. In the same year he was admitted to the Faculty of Engineering of Nangarhar University and graduated with a degree in engineering in 1989. [1]

Khōst is the capital of Khost Province in Afghanistan. It is the largest city in the southeastern part of the country, and also the largest in the region of Loya Paktia. Shaikh Zayed University, also known as Khost University, is a public university in the city of Khost, southeastern Afghanistan. With its original name "Afghan University Peshawar", it was initially established in 2000 in Peshawar. It was shifted to Khost by special orders of the former Afghan President Hamid Karzai. The university was named after Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first President of the United Arab Emirates, who sponsored the construction of its campus in Khost.
Mohammad Gulab Mangal is an Afghan politician. Since October 2016, he has been serving as the senior adviser minister of borders and tribal affairs for the president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. He is also actively involved in the tribal conflict resolutions.
