The Jogi Faqir or yogi Faqir is a Muslim community located in North India. They are also known as Madariya Faqir. The Jogi Faqir are one of the two sub-divisions of the Faqir found in Uttar Pradesh, India.[ citation needed ]

He was a member of Indian National Congress till 2016 and the founder of the political party named Janta Congress Chhattisgarh and the 1st President of the party from 2016 till he died in 2020.

Manavta Mandir or Be Human Temple in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India, was established in 1962 by Baba Faqir Chand (1886–1981). In order to carry forward the mission of his religion of humanity, Faqir, with the financial help from Seth Durga Das established the temple which remained his center of activity till he died in 1981. The temple houses a statue of his guru, Shiv Brat Lal and portraits of other prominent gurus of Sant Mat, Radha Soami Mat and Sufi Mat.

Hajipur is a village in Meerut District in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. It has a population of about 1461 persons living in around 194 householdshols. Most of the population is Muslim, and belongs mainly to the Muslim Gaddi community, with smaller numbers of Bhishti, Jogi Faqir, Muslim Barhai and Muslim Banjara.

Jogi is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by at least some of the caste of Jogis of India and Pakistan. The language is generally considered a dialect of Marwari, but the pronouns are distinct. Many Hindu as well as Muslim Jogi's of Sindh speak Jogi language as their native including Sindhi as well; whereas Jogi in other parts of Pakistan speak mostly Jogi language. However, the Jogi living in Thari Mirwah Sindh are a sub-caste of the Rajpar tribe, whose native language is Sindhi, and do not speak Jogi.

Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (J) (transl. People's Congress Chhattisgarh; abbr.JCC) is a political party in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. The party was founded by former Chief Minister, Ajit Jogi, after Jogi and his son Amit were expelled from Indian National Congress due to anti-party activities as well as sabotaging a bypoll election in Antagarh. Amit Jogi was expelled for six years.
