Lake Bronson is a city in Kittson County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 178 at the 2020 census. [4] Lake Bronson State Park is nearby.
A post office was established under the name Bronson in 1904. [7] The city was named for Giles Bronson, an early settler. [8]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.60 square miles (1.55 km2), of which 0.58 square miles (1.50 km2) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 km2) is water. [9]

As of the census of 2010, there were 229 people, 109 households, and 56 families living in the city. The population density was 394.8 inhabitants per square mile (152.4/km2). There were 144 housing units at an average density of 248.3 per square mile (95.9/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 99.1% White and 0.9% from two or more races.
There were 109 households, of which 22.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 34.9% were married couples living together, 9.2% had a female householder with no husband present, 7.3% had a male householder with no wife present, and 48.6% were non-families. 43.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 18.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.10 and the average family size was 2.89.
The median age in the city was 49.2 years. 22.7% of residents were under the age of 18; 5.2% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 15.7% were from 25 to 44; 37.9% were from 45 to 64; and 18.3% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 56.3% male and 43.7% female.
