Richmond Hill was the only station on the Lower Montauk Branch that was elevated with a high-level platform for passengers to wait for trains; the others were at ground level, with low-level platforms.

The Grant Avenue station was a station on the demolished BMT Fulton Street Line in Brooklyn, New York City. It had two tracks and one island platform. The station opened on July 16, 1894, as City Line station, and was the eastern terminal of the line until September 25, 1915, when Hudson Street – 80th Street opened and the line was extended to Lefferts Avenue – 119th Street. The next stop to the west was Crescent Street. It closed on April 26, 1956, and was replaced by the nearby underground Grant Avenue station of the IND Fulton Street Line 1½ blocks south on April 29, 1956. The remainder of the line east to Lefferts Avenue was connected to the Fulton Street subway and continues to operate.

Winifred Earl Lefferts, also known as Winifred Lefferts Arms, was a painter, designer and philanthropist. A member of the Lefferts family, early settlers of Brooklyn, she studied and exhibited art, and designed for New York book publishers prior to her 1937 marriage to Carleton Macy. Following her marriage to Robert A. Arms in 1952, she painted as Winifred L. Arms. After the death of her second husband, she became known for philanthropy and for founding a private residential treatment center in Carmel, New York, named Arms Acres.

He won a gold medal at the London 2012 Summer Olympics in the 4 × 100 meters freestyle relay, with teammates Amaury Leveaux, Fabien Gilot, and Yannick Agnel, besting the American relay team that included Michael Phelps. He also won a silver medal in the 4 x 200 meters freestyle relay. Lefert is an economics major at the University of Southern California (USC), and holds USC's record in the 200 yard freestyle (1:33.67).
