Tukarak Island is an uninhabited island in Qikiqtaaluk Region, Nunavut, Canada. Located in Hudson Bay, it is a member of the Belcher Islands group. [2] Along with Flaherty Island, Innetalling Island, and Kugong Island, it is one of the four large islands in the group. [3]

It is dotted with several lakes, one of which is also called Tukarak. Flaherty Island faces it across Omarolluk Sound all along its western side. It is bounded by Fairweather Sound on its south side. Other islands in the immediate vicinity include Bradbury Island, Dove Island, Karlay Island, and Nero Island. [4]

It lies in Churchill Sound between Kugong Island to its west and the Howard Peninsula of Flaherty Island to its east with the Inuit community of Sanikiluaq about 30 km (19 mi) northeast.

Innetalling Island is an uninhabited island in Qikiqtaaluk Region, Nunavut, Canada. Located in Hudson Bay's Omarolluk Sound, it is a member of the Belcher Islands group. It runs from Fairweather Sound at its northern end to Ridge Passage at its southern one. Fairweather Harbour is located on the north end of the island's east side.

The Milbanke Sound Group, also called the Milbanke Sound Cones, is an enigmatic group of five small basaltic volcanoes in the Kitimat Ranges of the Coast Mountains in British Columbia, Canada. Named for Milbanke Sound, this volcanic group straddles on at least four small islands, including Swindle, Price, Lady Douglas and Lake Island. Not much is known about this group of volcanoes and they remain undated. However, they all likely formed in the past 10,000 years after the last glacial period as evidenced by a small amount of erosion. The age of the most recent volcanic activity is also unknown. Most of the Milbanke Sound Cones are covered by mature forest. Kitasu Hill and Helmet Peak are the only two cones that are officially named.

Adams Island is an uninhabited island in the Qikiqtaaluk Region of Nunavut, Canada. The island is located in Baffin Bay off the northeastern coast of Baffin Island in the Arctic Archipelago. Nearby are Dexterity Island (northeast), Dexterity Fiord and Baffin Island (east), Tromso Fiord (south), Paterson Inlet (west), Bergesen Island (northwest), and Isbjorn Strait (north).

One of the uninhabited Baffin Island offshore island groups in Cumberland Sound, the Kaigosuit Islands are located long the south side of Nettilling Fiord, and southwest of Pangnirtung. The Kaigosuiyat Islands run parallel to the south. Further south is Irvine Inlet. The Kaigosuits are part of the Qikiqtaaluk Region, in the Canadian territory of Nunavut.

Grey Goose Island is one of several, larger, uninhabited Canadian arctic islands in Nunavut, Canada located within the midsection of James Bay. Other comparable islands in the area include the Bear Islands, North and South Twin Islands, Spencer Island, Sunday Island, and Walter Island. La Grande River and the Cree village of Chisasibi, Quebec are 65 km (40 mi) to the southeast.

The Salikuit Islands are an uninhabited island group in the Qikiqtaaluk Region of Nunavut, Canada. The 103 island archipelago is located in eastern Hudson Bay between the Belcher Islands and the western coast of Quebec. The closest communities are the Inuit hamlets of Umiujaq, Quebec, 60 km to the east on the coast of Hudson Bay, and Sanikiluaq, 75 km (47 mi) to the west on Flaherty Island.
