Lincoln is a city in Benton County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,144 at the 2020 census. [4]
A post office called Lincoln was established in 1866. [5] The city was named for Abraham Lincoln, sixteenth President of the United States. [6]

The racial makeup of the city was 97.6% White, 0.1% African American, 0.8% Native American, 0.3% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 0.2% from other races, and 0.9% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.1% of the population.
There were 478 households, of which 32.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.7% were married couples living together, 10.5% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.2% had a male householder with no wife present, and 37.7% were non-families. 31.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 20.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.37 and the average family size was 2.96.
